I visited this restaurant yesterday with my partner and we were shocked with the service and food. When we arrived we were immediately met by a very unfriendly host who didn’t give us a menu or show us to a seat.
When we came to ordering our food, bread arrived at the table and we were pleased but we quickly realised it was stale. This seems to be a common theme among other reviews and even worse is the fact that we and others were charged for this bread which was never ordered.
Aside from this the food itself was absolutely awful. My partner ordered the burger which arrived completly raw. The inside hadn’t started to cook and was inedible. We showed a member of staff and they looked confused and didn’t offer any help. Undercooked burgers seem to be a common theme among these reviews which is even more worrying than the stale, expensive and unwanted bread. We sent the burger back and no apology was given, in fact nothing was said. The burger that arrived was in a better condition but was also questionable red.
In the end the food and service was so dire that we decided to just laugh at the situation and appreciate the other brilliant places that we had eaten in on our trip.
I would highly recommend avoiding this place and noting the common thread among the reviews of poor service and...
Read moreIf you are into bad service with a great view of plastic people, with a side of tackiness, this is your place. For the price it is, it really should have better food and better service. I think our ~€200 meal had paid for an evening of eye rolling exercises that we didn’t need.
We booked a table but waited for 10 mins before the hostess got around to making eye contact.
Service was slow and unresponsive. Asked 4 times for our water from 2 different servers. Oh great. Water is finally here. But not the size we ordered…yet appeared on the bill.
Maybe some alcohol would help us feel less tense. Nope. No drinks menus available... but wait! There’s a QR code to scan for a menu. Nope. Link doesn’t work…
Proceed to wait 10 more mins. Order drinks, although waited didn’t understand the concept of ordering cocktails to start then a bottle of wine after so had to do two orders (yes, whilst clinging onto the drinks menu that we worked so hard to get a hold of. At this point if we lose the menu, we’d probably get the wrong wine if not pointing at it).
Finally, food! Nope. Waiter got our order wrong and, yes, this appeared on the bill (though, to be fair, removed when questioned).
Sigh. Well, we did ask for a...
Read moreOur goodbye dinner was sadly not as expected. The waiter was sweet but had a hard time understanding english and we were in doubt if our order came through. We ordered the salmon tatare which was okay but mine had some bits that were not edible. Afterwards we got the entrecote whereas both of them were burnt and mine cooked more than well-done. The meat was cut up so the chef/kitchen should have had a chance to check the meat. I had to leave more than half of it. We had both ordered it medium but it seemed that only my boyfriend's entrecote was cooked at that. There was only bearnaise and baked potato for one, so we had to share a very small amount but we didn't bother to ask for more since the sauce were very thin and cold. The music was too loud and the table next to us asked if they could move table because of the music. The waiter never came with the water we had ordered and at the end when I pointed it out that my meat was too overcooked there was not really any reply/excuse the waiter just...
