We visited Timonel on our recent trip to Marbella. We had heard great things about this restaurant and it did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the nicest staff and made to feel like family. The attended to our every need, always ensuring we were taken care of. They were so welcoming and kind to us, even though we could see they had many tables to look after. The surroundings were beautiful. The interior inside is stunning but we chose to sit outside on the terrace and the ambience was incredible. We really could have sat there all night. The food was served quickly and was cooked to perfection. We were given tuna with crackers and bread to start and the taste was delicious - it was very moreish. We found the menu had a wide range of options and we found these to be different to anything we’d come across during our time eating out in Marbella. It was truly unique and clearly a great deal of care has been put into creating this. All 3 of us loved our meals - the flavour was amazing and it was presented beautifully. We tried one of the desserts and coffee and both had a wonderful flavour. We were given some limoncello which was a lovely touch to end our meal. It’s hard to express just how special this place is - the setting, the staff, the food - all were 10/10. Having eaten out in many places during our holiday, we can honestly say this was probably our favourite. We can’t wait to come back again. We would recommend booking as it was really busy when we were there with most tables taken - luckily we’d made a...

From reviews and viewing the menu prior we knew we would love this spot. The restaurant is clean, sleek and fun. We dined outside as it was a bit too warm for us indoors and we loved watching the dogs go by and the breeze. Great spot to relax. Upon starting the meal we were given an amuse bouche which was a tuna mousse: creamy, light and delicious served with a cheese cracker and fresh warm bread. We are seafood lovers so this was a great way to start our dining experience. We then ordered the anchovies limited edition: so much fun to look at! Anchovies hanging from a clothesline - the perfect amount of salt. We were big fans! We then got the Burrata with tomato and avocado. It was fun to inject our cheese and dish. Light, refreshing and perfect for our hot, summer's day. The tuna tartare had a beautiful presentation, served in a crisp shell with three different spicy sauces, avocado and mango helped elevate the dish. We then finished with a slice of cheesecake because there is ALWAYS room for dessert. We thoroughly enjoyed everything that we ate and spent a lot of time on their patio. We went for lunch, upon opening, and by the time we left it started getting busy. I would definitely recommend stopping here. It exceeded our expectations. Beautiful meal, location, scenery, atmosphere and staff! Side note: the amount of limoncello we got was astonishing. Definitely helped us digest with that bottle haha. Thank you for a great...

Three of us ventured downtown, and had a wonderful dinner at Timonel. We stopped by earlier in the day, just to check it out, but the transformation of the interior in preparation for dinner was truly amazing. It was very warm, inviting, and so nicely done.

The menu is very eclectic. We had a wonderful waiter, and there was also somebody who may have been the manager who spoke excellent English, who helped describe some of our dishes. The three of us shared two appetizers, and three entrées, and as opposed to most restaurants were there may be good food with one or two memorable dishes, it is unusual for every t be delicious. The variety of food was impressive and the preparation spot on. They also had some excellent values of wines by the glass which we enjoyed. It was a tremendous evening. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a combination of great ambience, great food, and...

The initial encounter with the establishment garnered a resounding 5-star rating. The ambiance seamlessly blended sophistication and comfort, featuring plush furnishings. The subsequent impression, focusing on gastronomy, surpassed expectations. Commencing with an appetizer ensemble of "ensaladilla rusa" adorned with yolk coulant, exhibiting a delightful mouth-melting sensation, and barbate tuna tartar. The main course presented choices like spaghetti Alfredo, fried Thai octopus, and ceviche, each harmoniously fusing traditional flavors. For instance, the Spanish octopus dish showcased a subtle infusion of Thai spiciness. Concluding our culinary journey, a limoncello provided a fitting closure. We will surely come again.
