La TAPEOTECA in Murcia, Spain, stole my heart with its warm and friendly staff. I have never met a more welcoming and helpful group of people. They made our dining experience truly special. The chicken tapas at this place are absolutely lovely, and the dessert options are mouthwatering. Don't miss out on the bread cake—it's a heavenly treat that you won't be able to resist! From the moment we stepped into La TAPEOTECA, we were greeted with genuine smiles and warm hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and ensure we had a memorable time. They were more than happy to share their recommendations and accommodate any special requests we had. Their friendliness added a personal touch that made the entire experience feel like dining with good friends. Now, let's talk about the food. The chicken tapas at La TAPEOTECA are incredible. The flavors are well-balanced, and each bite is a burst of deliciousness. Whether you prefer them grilled, fried, or in a tantalizing sauce, you won't be disappointed. The menu offers a fantastic variety of tapas to choose from, catering to different tastes and preferences. And oh boy, the desserts! La TAPEOTECA's bread cake is a true gem. It's a unique and delightful creation that will leave you craving more. The combination of soft, fluffy bread and delectable flavors is simply divine. Make sure you save room for dessert because this sweet treat is an absolute must-try. In conclusion, La TAPEOTECA in Murcia is a tapas restaurant that deserves all the praise. The friendly staff creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere, while the chicken tapas and irresistible dessert options take your taste buds on a delightful journey. Don't forget to indulge in the bread cake—it's a slice of heaven! You won't regret visiting La TAPEOTECA for an unforgettable tapas experience filled with amazing flavors and friendly faces.

Perfect experience! I am so glad we ran into such an amazing place. Beautiful and laid back interior design and atmosphere. Staff is very friendly, polite and professional. I wish we could have ordered everything in the menu! You mush try the small bites/ tapas. Prices are affordable and the plating is special. It's nice to see how much effort they put into each small dish. Try the baby eel. Looks a bit "creepy" but it's super delicious and refreshing! Also order at least one fried leaf. They are real leaves from Murcia, fried, with cinammon and sugar - tastes like a cinnabon. Also please look at the discount on the recipe. Super cute :)

This small restaurant is one of the best restaurants I ever visited and therefore a 'must-visit' in Murcia City. Here my detailed review after having dinner for 4 persons: Location: From the outside the nearby square definitely looks better and more romantic, there is no outside seating and the place is in a small dark street. However the inside looks really good so don't let the outside fool you. We were lucky to have the last table for the night. The restaurant is very small so I would recommend making a reservation. The airconditioning is quite cool inside which can be too cool for some people but it's better than the 30°C outside. Service: The staff speaks English which is not that common in the area (at least I think so) and they can explain more then a few basic words. Everyone is extremely friendly, they work together and they are quick. 10/10 Food: The food is very tasty, Spanish and they is enough choice. You can pick small bites or bigger meals which you can always share so you can do it however you like. I really recommend the "paparajotes murcianos" for dessert, but definitely ask the staff how to eat them! Compliments to the Chef! Finally: The pricing is not cheap but very reasonable for the food you get. Thank you La Tapeoteca, I would...

Pretty dire. We got there and weren’t sure what to go with so ordered a few things to get us going, 2 servings of tempura prawns and 2 of the croquets along with the boneless chicken thighs and the Spanish omelette. The 2 ‘servings’ of prawns turned out to be just 2 prawns for which they charged 2€ each (so 4€ in total) and the 2 ‘servings’ of croquettes was also only 2 croquettes, also for 2€ each. The Spanish omelette was the worst I’ve ever had, greasy and flavourless, and the chicken thighs again were a tiny portion even though they were apparently ‘to share’ these cost around 10€. Absolute rip off. We left after having these because of how awful it was and...
