My friends and I went to Numa for some drinks and we booked a table in advance. Unfortunately, on the website it only allowed us to book a table in the restaurant so when we informed the staff that we would only be having drinks, a staff member told us that this was "a huge problem" and made us pay for our drinks before we got them and told us we would have to move as they wanted that table for a different group. We understood this however, the way this was communicated was slightly hostile. Once we received our drinks, we moved to two small tables that fit two people each (we were 6). Two of my friends and I then briefly left our table to go to the toilet (leaving our drinks there with our 3 friends who were seated next to us) and as soon as we left, a member of staff rushed over to clear our table and told our 3 friends that he needed our table for another group. Our friends proceeded to tell him that we were sat there and that we had simply gone to the toilets, but he proceeded to tell us in an aggressive and patronising way that our small table for two people could fit the 6 of us - bearing in mind that we had booked a table which we had already been made to move from. This was then the second time our table was being taken from us - at this point I hadn't even touch my drink. This all happened in the space of 10-15 minutes. My friends and I were super upset and as we had already overpaid for our drinks that some of us had barely touched, we asked to speak to someone in charge and explained the situation. The manager was displeased with what happened to us and immediately found us another table but by this point we had had enough so we requested a refund so that we could leave. The manager was very apologetic and did refund us which we appreciated, however the other staff had already ruined our night with their appalling service and awful attitude. The place looks beautiful but it is not worth the hype. We were made to feel like we were not welcome or wanted there even though we were paying customers like...
