La Peregrina ( The Pilgrim ) was certainly worth the sweltering afternoon trek thru the tiny streets of Malaga . The reviews of this Seafood and Beer bar are well deserved . After my epic journey , broiled by the sun , I staggered into the fan cooled interior …… reminiscent of the final scene of “ICE COLD IN ‘ALEX” . The chilled caña glass of CruzCampo beer didn’t even tough the sides , as they say . The servers smiled at my pig-din Spanglish and confirmed by pointing at each item on the bi-lingual menu ( beware, some of the translations are hilarious ) …… Crispy, crunchy and dry … the fried seafood arrived and we munched it down with more cervezas !!! After several more tapas rounds we judged it cool enough to brave the outdoor heat …….. WRONG , beaten back at the door we retreated back into the cool interior of La Peregrina . Trapped by the intenseMalaga heat we found comfort and respite , munching seafood tapas and sipping CruzCampo . Well worth the Sat Nav - Google Maps...

An absolute hidden gem for seafood lovers! Marisqueria Cerveceria La Peregrina in the heart of Málaga is an experience not to be missed. The best seafood I’ve ever had – incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and of the highest quality. Every single dish was a true delight!

The service is exceptional – super friendly, attentive, and warm. You feel welcome and well taken care of from the moment you arrive. The location is another highlight: authentic, cozy, and away from the typical tourist spots. It’s mostly locals who dine here, which makes the experience even more special.

And an absolute must: Try Carlos’ cake! A true delight and the perfect way to end an amazing meal.

A culinary highlight in Málaga – if you’re looking for authentic Spanish flair and outstanding food, this is the place to go. Absolutely recommend it! I will...

Honestly, I really this restaurant. The concept, the decoration and the atmosphere are lively. Their seafood stuff was very fresh and well prepared but not so various mainly were squid, octopus, shrimp and mussel. Would be extra stars if the offer more like whole big fish or crab. My rating from 5⭐️

Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ the staff barely speaks English but enthusiastic to communicate.

Food quality: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ very fresh and testy, regrettably, not that various choice of seafood.

Hygiene: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ their toilet was clean and well decorated.

Atmosphere: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ very loud but lively. Felt like eating in fresh market but I like...
