Mena Garden Nerja Restaurant — Restaurant in Nerja

We have jiust come back from a four day stay at this lovely Hostal it wasn't like what i expected it was even better. It deserves more than a one star rating. IT is in a small street just two mins. walk from the Balcon Europa, it is kept very clean our room was cleaned every day, this is the first time in all my travels that i have stayed in a Hostal we usually stay in four and five star Hotels but this little place had all the room facilities. We where in room 202 a superior room which has sea and garden views this room has the largest terrace we had two sun loungers and a table and chairs with a parasol, flat screen t.v. with lots of english channels including sky movies, a fridge air con and ceiling fan. The lady on reception was very friendly and helpfull we could not fault it we liked it so much we did not want to leave. Room tip ask for a superior sea view room prefrebly room 202 it has the large terrace. Also we heard that you could only get the free wifi at reception we managed to get it in our room you need to go just out of the room in the landing area and you can pick it up then back...

Had an excellent 4 night stay at this Hostal. Room was clean and had everything required. Aircon and ceiling fan. Tea and coffee making facilities (although not refreshed). TV with some satellite channels in English. Room had quite large balcony with table and couple of chairs on the first floor. Was a bit disappointed as I thought from the website that I had booked a room with terrace and views as shown, i.e. on the second floor, which would have had better views. Would be worth asking for second floor sea view room if you want the best. Could only get WiFi in reception. There is a lovely garden but not easy to use as only a couple of plastic chairs and no loungers. Get the impression that you are not encouraged to spend time there. However, excellent location and value for money and kept very clean. Would return again but would make sure had second floor...
