This is an amazing place for people who value slow life and good food. Watch out you won’t be able to pay by card here. They only accept cash but it has its charm. Place was quite crowded when I came but the waiter was super nice and moved me to the table outside when it freed. I ordered cranberry pie, orange juice, flat white with oat milk (sic! It’s one of the few places where you can order that) and avocado toast with scrambled eggs and bacon 🤤 it was absolutely amazing. Don’t expect the food will be served urgently. Sandwiches and crepes were ok but entirely forgettable. Staff, garden environment, overall aesthetic (lived in unpretentious but aesthetic Moroccan house) were amazing but that cafe con leche was a shocker (if you like a large glass of hot milk that’s beige you’ll be ok)
Still it’s great value and a unique beautiful peaceful place that doesn’t feel tacky or touristy. And one day I’d like to make my way through the...
