Absolutely wonderful food. We had a full course meal, and everything was as great as you could ask for. The seafood at this place was easily the best I've ever had in Nerja, and the fusion aspect really gave it an edge over other fine dining restaurants, without being over-the-top. I had the Iberian pork, which would have been fine on it's own, but was made perfect with the mushroom sauce and the side dish consisting of potatoes and corn. The desert was delicious, but maybe a bit heavy to eat on your own own. I'd recommend sharing. The chocolate souffle was my favorite. The staff warned us it would take about fifteen minutes to prepare, but it was well worth the wait; the warm chocolate filling was the best I'd ever had. The wine menu was great, and the house wine matched the meals perfectly. Lastly, the staff were extremely friendly and outgoing. They gave suggestions and joked around, and truly made us feel welcome. They told us that they wanted to be able to serve a smaller customer-base well, rather than become a standard tourist trap, which I thought was very admirable. I strongly recommend Naturale Cuisine for anyone in Nerja. It's slightly off the beaten path, but well worth it for anyone who enjoys...
Read moreFood was fine, nothing to write home about but acceptable - the ham was notably good. Atmosphere was boring. Service was horrible. Wouldn’t suggest anyone would ever go here. Not sure why they were so particularly rude to my partner and I but it was unpleasant from the start. Sitting us in a weird table where I was too warm because everything was reserved (there was at least 7 tables open the whole hour or so we were there). We then managed to move tables and the waitress moved a table from an open place to behind a pillar in an awkward position. Didn’t want to be difficult but we didn’t want to eat like that, we finally moved one last time to a small high table and ate our meal. At the end they were extra rude giving looks and whipping the bill and interact machine at me without looking me in the eye. Honestly unprofessional as it gets. Thankfully I’ve endured the experience so I...
Read moreWell we spotted this restaurant a fraction away from the main footpath. The Google reviews were few but all positive. Reason being this restaurant has inly been open a short time! Run by a husband and wife team. Nunzio the chef is from Naples and wife Laura is front of house.
On arrival had a very warm welcome. Service was excellent. We received a free bruschetta starter as we only ordered a main course. The rocket salad was straight from their own vegetable and herb garden back in the hills.
Main course of cod was simply outstanding and beautifully presented. The lobster panzarotto also was outstanding.
Desserts were delicious. Not to be missed.
The micro kitchen was spotless!
Restrooms were spotless with lovely dermatological soap.
A restaurant where you will soon have to book in advance as its...
