We went here based on the great reviews and great looking pictures of the rice dishes.

We made a reservation shortly in advance which worked very well and we had a nice and quiet table.

The waiters were nice and spoke English and the drinks came reasonably quickly.

However after we placed out food order it seemed like they forgot about it so we ended up waiting 30mins before they seemed to have realized after which it took another 20min to make the food, which is fine since we ordered the paella.

Both the paella and ibérico rice were decent but far from special, which was a shame. Not sure if they are usually better when they are not in a rush, but combined with the wait it was not the best experience.

It was just okay. Maybe we chose the wrong dishes… who knows. The service wasn’t friendly and it just felt immediately like we were bothering the waiter. The food was meh. It became clear pretty quickly that we did not want to return. Great location though.

Responding to the restaurants reply below: We never requested a refund. You might be confusing us with another dissatisfied patron. We ate our plates, paid and left.

I’ve never requested a refund from a dining establishment because i used to wait tables and i know how hard it is working in the service industry.

We went here for the high rating but were disappointed. We had to wait for about 1h for our food, from seating till main serving. When served there were a gap of about 10-15min between first served and last served (between three people). Food was good but sparse, no sauce for the "secreto iberico con patatas" and the topping prawns on the "senoret alicantino de jibera y gambas" were mushy.
