Restaurante El Tocororo — Restaurant in Nerja

When Valerie’s last restaurant shut on the Balcon, we were all upset as the food, the atmosphere and experience was amazing. We returned at Christmas to find Valerie was working in another restaurant as a waiter and he looked sad and definitely not his usual self. So when we saw he’d opened a new restaurant and one that served meat, we were over the moon! Last night we paid a visit and not realising it was the all you can eat night, wow, wow, wow!!!!

Every bite was beyond tasty, the meat platter was insanely good and even the garlic bread was just heaven.

Then we got the bill……our cheapest meal to date and worth every single penny.

Valerie is back to his old, happy and singing self, the waiters were equally as lovely and mirrored Valerie’s enthusiasm.

Ayer fuimos mi pareja y yo a cenar , al principio todo muy bien el trato del personal muy amable , nos explicaron que al ser martes lo único que ofrecían de comida era la parrillada de carnes por 20€ y que esta constaba de varios acompañantes más la carne a la piedra y que de todo ello se podía repetir las veces que quisiéramos y todo iba muy bien hasta que se nos ocurrió pedir alitas para repetir (4unidades) cuando se lo pedimos al camarero nos puso muy mala cara y nos dijo que esperáramos que ahora nos tomaba nota de los platos a repetir , eso no pasó , se dedicó a ignorarnos , pasados 20 minutos nos levantamos a pagar a la barra con la mesa sin recoger y sin bebida que también intentamos pedir pero como el camarero no nos miraba ni a la cara no fue posible , he de decir que a las demás mesas de la terraza sí les recogió la mesa si les pregunto si querían repetir algo y si les repuso la bebida . Una pena porque la comida estaba rica , la carne tierna y el ambiente agradable , nos hubiéramos ido con muy buen recuerdo del lugar pero no se pudo, he de decir que si pierdes dinero si la gente repite no lo pongas en la oferta y no se puede dejar repetir a una mesa sí y a otra no..lo...

Went on a Tuesday night which was the grill party. The food was unreal, the grilled meat was cooked and seasoned to perfection and the sides were full of flavour.
