McCafferty's Bar & Restaurant, La Zenia — Restaurant in Orihuela

In my opinion McCafferty's is what we need in La Zenia. Don't get me wrong Paddy's Point is good but MaCcafferty's is a positive injection with food, drinks and a great selection of beer's. Food served late. I'm actually at the bar now 21.45 enjoying pepper corn chicken. First musician finished and the next act about to start. Children are definitely most welcome. Giving ratings I will give MacCafferty's 09/10. 9 rating because the AC is probably at the same temperature at 12.00 am as is 18.00. I really cannot fault it and I have reviewed hundreds of pubs restaurants, niteclubs, in Ireland and the UK and now in Spain....

McCaffertys is a great Irish bar up at Paddy’s point in La Zenia, friendly staff, brilliant live music and a quirky interior that is a must see. Toilet was spotlessly clean and aircon was more than adequate inside if needed. Only niggle is when you sit outside the music from the neighbouring bar competes with the music playing from McCaffertys and ends up being a bit of a noisy mess. Bar/Wait staff don’t seem to last long here. Clearly not been paid enough or just maybe a toxic work environment. The bar has been open a few years and not one bartender or waiter is still working there. Employees come and go constantly which is not a good sign in business It appears that whoever is doing the hiring here is new to this maybe an apprentice but clearly not experienced in managing a business.
