Potentially a very high level experience, spoiled by some (important) details. The location is very nice, central, modern, elegant and chic. We started our dinner by sharing some clams with lime sauce, it wasn't remarkable, quite a high price (26 euro) for around 12 clams, there was also one of them with a blatantly broken shell, you could feel some small pieces while chewing them. Not the end of the world, but for such a high price and small portion, one should expect very selected clams. Also, while some clams were fresh and tasty, some of them did not taste like. At the end of the dinner and during the night, one of us has experienced some bad food poisoning, most likely due to an "unlucky" clam. Then we tried beef filet with honey sauce + 5 different potato preparations and bacalhao pil pil and black garlic sauce. The dishes were delicious. Unfortunately, we found a tiny piece of plastic in the fish, and also some fish bones. The service was attentive, they were sorry and invited us with the dish to make up for the mistake, very appreciated. The desserts were also tasty. Wine recommendation was appropriate and not too expensive. Overall we have appteciated the dinner, but we would have expected a bit more for a michelin-guide level restaurant. Read moreI’ve dinned in 5 different occasions and every experience and food have been extraordinary good. The foie is tasty and melting in your mouth, the chipirones (small squid) were cooked to perfection (tender, flavoursome and with a perfect bite), I couldn’t have cooked the grouper any juicer and tastier etc. I could go on and on highlighting their gastronomic craftsmanship. If you are into cheese don’t forget to ask for their cheese platter as dessert.
On a final food note - the most impressive and creative dish (in my opinion) is the squid tartare.
The wine list is both reasonable and extremely enjoyable. The service exquisite - always polite, accommodating and friendly.

Read moreUna magnífica experiencia en el centro de Oviedo. Vicente Cabal y su equipo nos han vuelto a sorprender en esta nueva etapa. Ha redecorado un conocido local dándole un ambiente moderno, acogedor y elegante, ha formado un equipo de cocina y sala de gran nivel y sigue desarrollando una carta con la calidad a la que nos tiene acostumbrados de anteriores etapas. Optamos por el menú degustación que constó de ocho pases sorprendentes. Desde el aperitivo inicial hasta el segundo postre todos los platos fueron una delicia de sabores, contrastes y maridajes excelentes. Desde luego se puede opinar sobre la armonía de sabores, que algunos pueden considerar discordantes o extraños, pero en nuestro caso, conociendo la evolución de la cocina moderna, los encontramos perfectamente encajados y sabrosos. Incluso platos a los que no somos muy adictos, como el ceviche o el steak tartar, estuvieron a gran altura. Mención especial a los postres. También conviene destacar que, aunque nuestra estancia en el restaurante fue larga, unas dos horas y media, los tiempos de servicio de los platos siempre fueron los adecuados. Únicamente el último postre tardó un poco más, justo cuando el local estaba lleno, pero aún así el tiempo fue razonable. En cuanto al precio, 55 € por persona, bebidas aparte, nos parece inmejorable dada la calidad del producto, de la elaboración y del servicio. En definitiva, una experiencia altamente recomendable....
