After a long day of exploring Palma, we decided to go here for lunch. It was my first time trying seafood since in my country it's not very available. I mostly picked something from the Tapas (To Share) Menu. So I tried a lot of food here and shared it with my mom. I ordered Empanadas, Ham Croquette, Prawn Kataifu, and a Smoothie. Also, my sister and dad got Crispy Chicken with fries. The chicken was really similar in taste and texture to a czech meal called "Řízek" so it kinda reminded me of my home country. Empanadas were very good the meat was fresh and the dough was also good. Then I got the Prawn Kataifu, and these were absolutely delicious . It was super crispy and delicious, and if I had the money, I would eat it every single day💯. It was also one of my favorite foods from our vacation. Then, the last and smallest one, I tried the Ham Croquette, which was sadly not as good as I expected but still eatable. The Smoothie I had was also very refreshing and good. Since I ever had it here. I had Smoothie in Mallorca every single day. I've really enjoyed my lunch here, so I...
Read moreWe came by on our way through Palma and thought to give it a try. The waitress didn't understand me properly in the beginning so she brought me alcohol free beer although I was asking for their offer of alcohol free beverages. The quality of the food was not good, Aioli was white(egg yolk was missing, ok that's maybe a choice of taste) but didn't had any taste besides the one of fat. Salt and garlic missing. The deep fried squid rings had a texture of chewing gum and no taste. Croquetas were probaly deep fried in the same oil since they had a fishy note. Patatas bravas were floppy potato wedges with some tomato sauce(tasted like ketchup) and the boring Aioli. Prices are too high especially for what you get, there are other restaurants/tapas bar in the same area which serve higher quality and much better taste for the same price or even less. The waitress didn't even asked if we liked it or were satisfied, so I'm writing down my...
Read moreI stumbled upon Bocalto by pure chance on my first night in Palma, wandering the streets in search of dinner. Drawn in by its welcoming vibe, I decided to give it a try — and I’m so glad I did.
As a solo traveler, I opted for a seat near the bar. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine warmth by every member of the team. Their friendliness made me feel less like a customer and more like a longtime friend — instantly part of the Bocalto family.
The atmosphere is effortlessly vibrant, fueled by a team that clearly loves what they do. Their passion shows not just in their service but in the food and drinks as well. Everything I tried — from the beautifully plated dishes to the thoughtfully selected wines — was delicious and satisfying without feeling overcomplicated.
I enjoyed it so much, I returned several times during my stay. Each visit felt like coming home.
I can’t...
