I have visited Mistral multiple times over the last 2 years and loved it, but the quantity/quality of the food has dropped DRASTICALLY over the last few months. Our visit today was super disappointing. Initially the waiter struggled to understand our order in both Spanish and English, he then only took food orders from 3 members of the party despite being asked whether he had 5 food orders, to which he responded yes, the 2 dishes which were then ordered later took easily 30 if not 40 minutes to arrive. I have always enjoyed mistral because it's one of the only spots to eat halloumi and they've always had good portion sizes. However, today the halloumi was sheet thin, there were barely any pomegranate seeds and a much smaller helping of avocado. I even looked at a photo from a breakfast in February and was shocked at the difference (I've attached the comparison photos). Really disappointing considering it is relatively expensive especially when portion sizes have been cut so...
Read moreI visiting this coffee place by random choice during my recent short stay in Mallorca. I didn't know much about this place, but it really positively surprised me. The interior is really nice decorated and each table has enough space so you can still have your privacy. I tried the homemade lemonade, ciabatta and cinnamon ban and all was very good - fresh, nicely seasoned, and all had a very good taste. It enough for a nice brunch or afternoon snack after sightseeing. All the members of the staff very helpful, nice and smiling:-) I also liked that the one of the owner is actively engaged with the customers, talks to them, as is like part of the staff. I think its one of the sign that you are threaded well and they actually care how you feel when visiting this place. So if you want to have a very nice and relaxing experience in a nice coffee shop - THIS IS THE PLACE TO VISIT!:-))) Keep up the great work - Mistral coffee...
Read moreSHOCKING - You know when it's Saturday afternoon and suddenly you get a quick for coffee? We'll that's me, deciding to get a take-away flat white. I ask the people at the counter and they reply that a take away flatwhite in my cup is absolutely fine. Fantastic! I go to pay, and guess what? They're charging me for a Latte at 3.90€... I try to point out the mistake, to which I get a brash, rude reply pointing out that she cannot prepare a flatwhite in the cup and must upcharge me. It's so ironic when I was ready to pay 3.50€ for a flatwhite! :') I have never had a single issue getting the same service in all the other specialty coffee cafes in Palma.
I'm speechless, and honestly, I find this such an appalling experience. The spirit of this business is in my opinion no longer local, friendly or inviting, and it saddens me deeply.
I am sorry to have to share...
