Es Petit Bar — Restaurant in Palma

NEVER AGAIN! Previous reviews were very good thats why ee chose this restaurant, unfortunately it might changed owner or staff. The service was terrible no words. We waited for the menu 10 mins then we asked the waiter to get us one and waited another 20 mins. After we finally got the menu, ordered food waited a very long timw again... no suprises. No member of the staff or managment could speak english. So I tried to expalain a few thing for the waiter with my very basic spanish knowledge. He got us the wrongfood on the end never changed it or apologies. Other tables were waiting for menus and bills and too pay way more time then what the should have. The staff was having food and chats inside the restaurant not caring at all ... we asked for sauce and extra drinks what we never got on the end and the wanted to charge for it too... on the end when we wanted to pay the waiter started to strip the table and poored paprika sause all over on our dress and phone and run back to the restarunt never apologies. He just disappeared. Then we tried to speak to the manager who also had no understanding of english or german. It was a complete chaos. People were waiting for food bills and payment while thw only one waiter who was "working" cleaning empty tables Worse ever experience in palma. Hopefully word will spread and the change staff and attitude....

We arrived at 21.00, because on the internet it said it was open till 23.00. At 21.15, when we just got our food the employee started to clean tables and bring them to the back. Then the bill came on the table without asking, while we actually wanted to order more. The payment by card went wrong so I asked if it wasn't payed already, because it said 'payment accepted' (in Spanish). He assured it wasn't payed yet, so I tried again. The "Es Petit Bar" is a very tiny tapas bar in the city center of Palma de Mallorca. The Tapas selection is classical, fresh and of very good quality. We enjoyed besides the tapas also the bocadillos with ham respectively cheese accompanied by a glass of wine. Pricewise it's typically for a location like this. Ensure to sit on the right side...
