Hungry Gastro Food Bar — Restaurant in Palma

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Hungry Gastro Food Bar, and the experience was nothing short of excellent. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by the warm smiles of the staff, setting the tone for an exceptional evening.

The service at Hungry Gastro Food Bar deserves the highest accolades. The staff’s attentiveness were truly impressive, and their genuine enthusiasm for making our visit memorable was evident in their every action.

The atmosphere of this small restaurant is simply enchanting. The interior design, a perfect blend of local elegance and cozy comfort, created an inviting ambiance. The lighting was just right, casting a warm glow that added to the overall charm.

As for the food, it was an absolute masterpiece. We picked a variety of fish and meat dishes, followed by excellent deserts (tiramisu and sorbet). Each dish presented a symphony of flavors that tantalized the taste buds. The menu only holds a small but very selected range of options and the wine recommendation matched the Menü perfectly. Ingredients were clearly of the highest quality, and the execution of each dish was flawless.

We loved this restaurant, the food quality was amazing and excellent value compared to others! One of our favourite meals in Palma. The quality was much better than many of the other (also highly rated) places we tried and the food was beautifully presented, good portions and flavours. The location isn't in a highly touristic area but still pretty central, a good thing. We had Tuna and Veal for mains, both very special. The quality you can tell is exceptional and the flavours delicious. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth, accompaniments well suited. Also the chips with the veal dish were delicious - super fluffy inside and crisp on the outside. The desserts were also delicious (no bake cheesecake and crepe - crepe a bit rich for me but he loved it!!) We would love to come back and try the popcorn chicken starter which sounded great. The Tinto was really nice too! Service friendly and professional, not invasive. I think this is a real hidden gem. Walked in here tonight and had an incredible meal with very warm, attentive and friendly service. We were so lucky a table opened up when we got there (it is small, but for good reason! Everyone gets the attention they deserve and ambience is great). The owner/server was so welcoming and got us situated right away. The service was prompt and drinks and starters arrived quickly. We had a gorgeous, fresh salad and some Iberico ham of course - freshly shaved on the spot and so so good. We got the ribeye for two with a side of chips and wow, it did not disappoint. Cooked to perfection, melt in your mouth. The side of chips also, underrated! They’re some of the best fries I’ve had in awhile. So hot and fresh and crispy. Finished with the no-bake blueberry cheesecake and it was exactly right. So light and not too sweet. We loved everything about this place. Set the bar high for our first dinner in Palma.
