This place might be away from the crowds, but think about it. It's away from the crowds. Right outside there's a little play area for children and a nicely shaded area for parents to sit to kick back and chill. Inside L'informal Tacos is the same vibe, all chill, lots of thrill. Make sure you book a table as they have a few tables in this boutique of a restaurant. When you walk in it's clean, it's fresh and it's ac is on according to the government 26°c rules. On to the food. Starters, quesadillas and nachos. The quesadillas were all fresh cooked from scratch, served with a topping of guacamole (homemade), cheese melted inside like any good quesadilla should be. The pibil was in a separate bowl which allows you to share if you want. The nachos were definitely in house crafted, asking with the chili con carne which was ordered as extra. It came with guacamole and it was all muy guapo.
Then on to the main courses. Breaded chicken (pollo cruijente), we had the chilli sauce on the side. It's a huge taco and after the gargantuan starters was difficult to finish. A classic cochonita pibil was also ordered as a main and was filled to the brim with succulent, shredded pork, tired topped with sour cream and dripping all the way from the plate to your face, clearly a recipe straight out of Mexico. With two carbonated drinks, the whole thing came to nearly 40€ which to be honest is decent for the quality, quantity and presentation of the food. If there wasn't nearly 1000 miles separating me from this place I would be making it my go to taco place in Palma. If you're in Palma and want some decent food, this is your spot. If I'm ever in Palma again I'll be...

We were visiting palma and were in the mood for Mexican food. After scouring google we came across L’informal Tacos and wow we are so pleased we did.
From the onset the service was impeccable. The welcome was friendly and we were swiftly sat down. We did book a table (only a few hours before)- I’d probably recommend this as it got quite busy whilst we were there.
My boyfriend had a beer which was refreshing and I opted for the passion margarita which was so fresh, zingy and smooth.
We opted to share our starters and tacos and we had: Guac and chips - so good and the guac was amazing. We both said we’d probably skip this next time as the cheese casserole was out of this world and we wanted more Cheese casserole - as mentioned above, perfection. Stringy but not greasy and topped with sour cream, salsa and guac. Heaven. Sea bass taco - wow. Can’t explain how good this was, the fish was cooked to perfection Pork taco- belly pork and offered a different flavour profile to the fish.
We have already recommended that our family and friends visit and will most certainly be visiting again. The food was supported by knowledgable waiters who actually recommended which order we should eat our tacos.
Great service, cool and trendy setting and...
Read moreThis place was phenomenal We definitely recommend booking here as people were turning up and there was no seats available for being unfortunately turned away
We somehow stupidly managed to book for the following night instead of the night that we were meant to, but there was a lovely member of staff. You managed to change things around and got us seated up by the bar.
The bomber was great at making the cocktails fresh and had lots of flare so that was interesting to watch
The cocktails tasted great
The tacos were lovely
My favourite thing here was the dish they call a casserole we went for the meat version and it did not disappoint .
We have this slightly better quality beef option as opposed to the shredded beef option and it was a very big portion of thief. Some of the bits of beef had a little bit of fat on them but that’s where all the incredible flavour comes from. The fish ceviche was equally incredible. I would definitely recommend trying this. The flavours were awesome. I would definitely also recommend booking this place. They also haven’t booked stairs table that was also quite intimate and private and that seated I think eight people so definitely good for a group...
