I stumbled across this new restaurant in La Ribera so I had a look at the menu. Everything looked expensive so I wasn’t sure what to order. Tacos on the menu are something like €14:95 and it doesn’t say how many tacos are included so I had to ask - 3 tacos I was told and shown a portion on a nearby table. I wasn’t convinced so I ordered the “Tijuana” nachos (with chicken) at €10.50 thinking at least if I were to try these and these were good I would order something else.
Unfortunately the nachos were flavourless, soggy, dry and absolutely tasteless. The worst nachos I’ve tasted ever and I’m a huge fan of Mexican and tex-mex food. The portion was very small too. I ate the whole portion because I was really hungry but I had absolutely no intention of ordering anything else and won’t be going back until this restaurant actually learns to server proper nachos or tex-mex food. Big disappointment but wasn’t one bit surprised when my nachos looked like a dish absolutely anyone could have prepared and the toppings were virtually non existent. Oh! Some guacamole would have been really nice. Some pico de gallo would have been really nice. Some hot sauce would have been really nice.

Then the flautas- these undercooked tortillas with chicken in them were a mess - not cooked or crisp and served with Asian sweet chili sauce.
I do not know what they are trying to do here but it is not Tex or Mex. The owner admitted he runs an Indian restaurant and I think he should...
