Okun Bar & Restaurant (Rooftop del Hotel Obelisco) — Restaurant in Palma

We were staying in Palma for a few days celebrating my wife's birthday. I was looking for somewhere nearby that was really special to take her on her actual birth day. Found Okun and it looked perfect.

The arrival into the rooftop restaurant is breathtaking. The general ambience and view are stunning. Staff were amazing and made us feel very special. I'd asked for a nice table and we weren't disappointed. A beautiful table with perfect views of the sunset.

The food was absolutely delicious. One of the best steaks I've ever had. Perfectly cooked and beautifully seasoned. My wife had risotto that was amazing.

Staff really friendly and attentive. They really look after you.

We ate some of the best food we've had whilst watching the most amazing sunset.

Cannot recommend this place...

Me and my partner, were recommended to this place and believe me, from the moment we came in to the moment we left, it was absolutely amazing.

If you like steak tartare this is the place I mean it!!!

Tuna carpaccio was to die for, and don’t get me started with the tiger milk ceviche 😁

Anyhow moving onto the main course we had the fillet with mash and asparagus, it was delicious the meat was so soft that it melted in your mouth.

The octopus same very soft cooked to perfection.

For desserts we had the pistachio Millie folie which again was amazing. Emiliano our waiter was amazing and very knowledgeable.

Overall if you wanna have a nice dinner and good ambience do come to this roof top restaurant you...

Sky bar o sky restaurante con unas vistas maravillosas. Muy recomendable subir al ático y tomarse una copa viendo el caer del solo. Y sí, he dicho tomar una copa con toda la intención del mundo porque el servicio está todavía muy falta de rodaje, tanto el de “sala” como en cocina. Digo en sala porque es conceptualmente inadmisible que en una mesa para 5 solo 4 comensales tengas salvamanteles. Un detalle menor, pero importante en un local que pretende ofrecer calidad. Por otra parte hay un personal con motivación e ilusión, pero con carencias graves en protocolo de mesa. La carta es escasa pero aún así el día que fuimos muchas de nuestras selecciones no estaban disponibles. Y aquí otro detalle de torpeza, porque hasta en dos ocasiones tuvo que salir el camarero diciendo “lo siento, que no hay”. Entrantes regulones (gambas, croquetas...) muy por debajo de los principales, en los que se notó una subida de nivel, sobretodo en producto porque la Presentación es bastante torpe. Postres demasiado dulces, pero es un error demasiado común en España. Mención aparte merece la pobre carta de vinos y el desconocimiento de los camareros acerca de conceptos básicos como el tipo de uva. Nosotros fuimos a comer y a la medida que avanzaba la tarde apareció una horrible música junto a turistas jóvenes alemanes con copas de balón en la mano. Conclusión: restaurante con potencial. Por el momento enfocado a clientes extranjeros así que no es recomendable para muchos perfiles. Pero le falta mucho camino por recorrer y madurar si la dirección pretende posicionarlo como...
