Pizzeria Sa Cova — Restaurant in Palma

Let me share my experience at Sa Cova Pizzeria in Mallorca. Overall, it was a positive experience with a few minor hiccups. The staff was friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The aroma of freshly baked pizzas filled the air, making my mouth water in anticipation. However, the restaurant was bustling with customers, resulting in a longer wait time than expected. Despite that, I finally got a table and eagerly placed my order. The flavors of the pizzas were delicious, with a perfect balance of toppings and a crispy crust. However, I noticed that something was broken, which affected the overall experience. It's unfortunate when technical issues arise, as they can impact the overall enjoyment of a meal. Due to this inconvenience, I would rate my experience a 3 out of 5. Nonetheless, I appreciate the efforts of the staff and the quality of the food. Location: The restaurant is located in the middle of the city (close to Plaça Major) Is very well advertised and easy to walk on. It is not directly on the street and not on the main path. The restaurant is furnished in a rustic style. If you want a seat, you should reserve in advance, because there are not enough of them.

Food: I ordered the BBQ vegan Pizza, Vegan Hawaiana, Housemade Pineapple cake and cocunut cake. The pizza was thin, nice and crispy. The topping could have been a little more for my taste, but it was definitely enough. Both pizzas tasted really good.

Service: Staff was very friendly. You felt welcome right away. I was impressed that he almost did the service himself. To serve all customers, answer the phone, get drinks and food, prepare the dessert and still be friendly and relaxed.

The place doesn't really look like as on the picture - it is just some fast food style place on the street with a few tables. We had one pizza that was completely ordinary, nothing special.

But what I really didn't like is the impression from the lady who was doing us a waiter. She offered us probably every single thing from the menu, even though we were quite clear that we want only pizza and wine which gave me an impression as she's trying to milk from us as much money as possible. This impression confirmed when I received the receipt. We ordered two glasses of wine, that was 2,5€ per glass (and I specifically pointed my finger on it in the menu when ordering), yet she gave us wine which was 4,5€ per glass that wasn't even in the menu.
