From the outside Terrence Club looks inviting and stylish. Upon walking in nobody greeted us, we met our friends already sitting at the table. We had to call the server for their attention to place the order who came instantly at that point but also didn’t bring more menus than the two we had from before amongst 8 ppl. We pushed our own tables together, after we were denied the big group table in the back corner as they needed it for their own preparation. Once ordered the food was good, had the eggs Benedict with a side of avocado and a freshly squeezed OJ all under 20€. A DJ was practicing their tunes loudly while we were there trying to have a conversation, we said something, but it did not make a difference, we had to put up with it. I appreciate the restaurant’s effort to wanting to create a trendy vibe, but good service is just as important as ambiance. We had high hopes for Terreno Club after hearing good things from friends and locals, but sadly, our experience fell short.
I ordered the Eggs Benedict “Bene” from the brunch menu, and we also tried the Turkish eggs. Unfortunately, my dish arrived with overcooked poached eggs, burnt bacon, and an under-toasted muffin. While the flavours were there, the execution missed the mark.
The Turkish eggs were fine, but the sourdough toast was overly crisp—more like it had been grilled to cover up staleness than freshly toasted.
Drinks were another letdown. The coffee had a strange aftertaste—possibly due to burnt beans or off milk—and the matcha latte hadn’t been properly whisked, with clumps of powder throughout.
For €35, the overall value didn’t feel competitive compared to other brunch spots nearby in Santa Catalina. There’s potential here, but quite a few details need tightening to...
Read moreVery nice restaurant, with great options, very friendly service and good cost benefit. We were very well welcomed, and had the best problem you can have at a restaurant: too many good options to choose only one. The coffee was nice and the juice also very good, and the sandwich i chose, with cheddar was really nice and big portion! Definitely is a good start into the day! The price is honest and considering the service, atmosphere and food quality, i believe it is a great cost benefit. If you are on vacation and want to have a great breakfast, come...
