I went here to cycle north/east of Palma and stayed for 10 nights. Arrival (12am) and departure (6am) were no problem (i came by bus with a bike box); i received a small & a big locker and could keep the roadbike in a separate storage room (which was locked from 12am-8am) for 5€/night. The location is perfect for cycling; you can ascend without traffic lights or much traffic directly to the Coll de sa Creu. The hostel has a small outside space between street & house where you can relax after returning from your ride :)
There is a supermarket directly next to the hostel where i could get essentials, or a larger one and some restaurants a few minutes away. The kitchen is well-equipped so you can cook just like at home; you just have to wait until it is not occupied (i'd say two people can cook at the same time) - you have to bring your own food but there's space to store your labelled stuff. The showers and toilets are frequently cleaned and in good condition, never had a situation where i had to wait.
There's a big common area with sofa, tv etc where you can hang out and meet the other guests or (the very nice) staff, but if you want your privacy/rest the beds are super comfortable with curtain, lights & power outlet. During the night it was comfortably warm, but the staff offered to change AC settings if needed. I slept with earplugs and was always well rested for the next day :)
Overall i can totally recommend this hostel for every cyclist that wants to stay on a budget and likes independence, at the same time having a nice ambience and everything you need to...
Read moreI stayed one day at the hotel and was placed in a 28 bedroom and on my confirmation it was not written on booking.com that I will be placed in this room. I have bad allergies with house mite and In the night I was feeling my lungs constricting. The 1st night the staff let me open the door. The next dat the manager told me because there are 28 people he cannot open it. All airco was switch off. He is very arrogant and told me if I'm not happy I can leave. It was nearly 1am in the night. I asked him to stay until the morning and that I would like to get refunded. So he told me if I leave right now he will refund me and I can go to stay in a hotel where there is a window to open and pay 100 euro per day. So I call We hostel which is nearby and there was a place there. So I left immediately. I go to see the manager the next day for the refund but he said I paid at expedia and will refund the money on a virtual card. Up to now I have not get any money back. I would not recommend this hotel to people who are sick and have lungs problems or allergies problems cause there is no aeration. But there was another man the first day he was nice . But the owner...
Read moreCrew was nice, kind and helpful. Found very expensive compared to other hostels (maybe because it was in Mallorca) and too far from the city center, forty minutes walk - from the airport you have to take two buses, one to city center and then another one to the hostel. There are some bars and parties near but no beach or sightseeing.
My impression is that they only have one room for 30 people, so you need to expect a lot of noises at anytime (people has to come and live, of course). The beds were comfortable with great and private structure and clean sheets, towels etc, but the room itself was a little dirty with a lot of dusty in the floor. You can wash your clothes and dry for 8€, very good price compared to the rest of the city.
If you want use the lockers under you bed, has to pay a kaution of 10 euros, but you can use the lockers outside with your own locker. Victor was very nice and I could use the locker a little earlier than my...
