Having grown up in a hotel and traveled extensively throughout my life, I’ve come to truly appreciate the rare kind of hospitality that goes beyond professionalism—where care, warmth, and genuine attention to detail create something far more memorable than just a comfortable stay. Hotel Feliz in Palma is exactly that kind of place.||From the moment you arrive, there’s a distinct atmosphere—relaxed yet attentive, stylish without being showy, and above all, deeply personal. It’s the kind of balance I’ve seen mastered only by a few, most notably through the influence of a dear old friend who once ran one of Scandinavia’s most iconic hotels. Through him, I learned that true hospitality doesn’t shout—it whispers. It’s found in the quiet confidence of a well-timed gesture, the warmth of a smile, and the art of anticipating a guest’s needs without ever making a fuss.||Hotel Feliz carries that same quiet elegance. The entire team works in harmony, radiating a joy in their work that feels completely natural. There’s nothing forced, nothing rehearsed—just a shared spirit of wanting guests to feel at ease, welcome, and cared for. Every encounter, from the front desk to the breakfast venue, feels genuine and unhurried.||Sofia, one of the team members, deserves a gentle mention—she was the first to welcome me, and her calm presence and intuitive sense of hospitality left a lasting impression on me. There’s a certain grace in how she interacts with guests, and I’ll admit, I found myself quietly charmed by her ability to make people feel seen. She set the tone for what would become a genuinely heartwarming stay. But what makes this place special isn’t just one standout person—it’s the collective effort, the culture, the tone that’s been set and clearly embraced by everyone on staff.||And then there was Room 602—my own hidden gem at the very top of the hotel. After taking the elevator, a short walk up the stairs led me to what truly felt like a private penthouse. Light-filled, quiet, and thoughtfully designed, it became like my personal retreat. The view from up there was nothing short of stunning—sunrises over Palma, the harbor glittering in the distance, and a peacefulness that made me linger a little longer each morning. It’s the kind of room that makes you feel like you’ve been let in on a secret.||Location-wise, Hotel Feliz hits the sweet spot: close enough to the heart of Palma to enjoy everything the city offers, yet slightly removed, allowing for peace and quiet when you need it most.||In short, Hotel Feliz isn’t just a hotel—it’s a reflection of what hospitality can be when it’s done with heart, subtlety, and intention. For those of us who have spent a lifetime around hotels, it’s a reminder that excellence is rarely loud—it’s felt. And here, you feel it from the moment you arrive.||To the entire team: thank you for creating a place that feels like home. I’ll be back, without...
Read moreNice hôtel a bit outside of Palma. It is well connected during the day by several bus lines, that will bring you to Cala Major or the city center in about 15 minutes. I can't say the same of the night, as after midnight you can go back only walking or by taxi. The rooms are big and nice, the view is cool and there is even a (very small) pool that fits maybe 2-3 people. I stayed in a room on the 3rd floor for 7 days. The wifi reception was really bad, at the point that I had to rely with my data plan for the entire holiday. The fridge in the room was extremely noisy, especially during the night, and I had some issues with the a/c that got immediately fixed by the staff. One tip: bring a sleeping mask as the curtains are useless and the room will be full of light from 7AM. The breakfast is a nice buffet, and, before arriving, I asked if there were gluten-free options and I got reassured of their presence. I can't deny that there were (mostly salted though), but, being an unsupervised buffet, I saw other guests putting bread/muffins/croissant in contact with these options, so I didn't feel comfortable in eating anything besides fruit. Good thing is that all the nearby supermarkets have plenty of gluten free food. I wouldn't recommend to eat from the buffet in case of food intolerances. Some of the staff at the reception didn't seem very proficient in English as we had some troubles asking questions and getting proper answers. Also, they didn't wear the mask all the time. Weird thing: nobody asked us about the quality of the stay, so I couldn't raise those concerns...
Read moreFabulous. We have stayed at the Hotel on three occasions over the past month and on each occasion it has been wonderful. It's all down to the staff. Anna on the front desk is the most considerate, kind, warm and customer focused person we have had the privilege of meeting on any front desk for years! Thank you so much Anna - you made our stay so fabulous. You are a super special human! The hotel is dog friendly and the staff were friendly, kind and considerate towards him.
