My partner ordered the lobster pasta at €38 a dish we were excited to try it, I ordered the pizza pepperoni at €24, the lobster pasta was genuinely one of the worst dishes we have eaten,
It was penne pasta, almost microwaved with rock hard pasta bake sort of cheese, the bowl was 90% of this inedible pasta so unfortunately the dish was left untouched once I ate the pieces of lobster. Definitely a waste of money and a huge disappointment.
The pizza was massively disappointing, it was far too oily, fell apart, impossible to cut or pick up as you would a pizza slice, dough just crumbled, you would expect way more for €24 a pizza.
The food was to be honest, terrible. We mention to a waiter that we didn’t enjoy the food and nothing was offered and no apology, or really any consideration.
It also didn’t help that the waitress was very abrupt and sharp. We felt uncomfortable and a burden. Again, when you are paying these prices, you don’t expect this experience.
To top it all off, upon departure, we both went to the toilet, my partner had to complain due to faeces on the floor in the cubicle. The staff did go to the toilets straight away once we had let them know. We were thankful to have eaten before we saw this.
Overall, the view was beautiful and the outside setting is lovely. We were sold on those. Food is genuinely terrible in our experience. By far the worst food of the holiday. FYI this is the first time we’ve ever had to complain about...
Read moreWe’ve often enjoyed visiting Cappuccino in the afternoons for a coffee and the lovely view. Until now, we’ve always had positive experiences, but unfortunately today was different.
My cappuccino had an unusual amount of ground coffee dispersed through the milk foam. I mentioned it politely to one of the servers, but my comment was not acknowledged—she seemed more focused on our baby than on addressing the issue.
When it came time to pay, I shared my feedback with a more senior staff member, along with the fact that we’re regular guests who usually enjoy the coffee. Instead of a thoughtful response, I was met with a rather dismissive reply. She initially claimed it was “cinnamon,” but quickly backtracked when she realised I had already had a coffee earlier and would know the difference. I was told that if I had wanted a replacement, I should have spoken up immediately — though I felt I had already done so, in a polite and timely manner.
I wasn’t looking for a discount, just a bit of attentiveness to quality and customer service. When paying a premium price, one naturally expects a certain standard.
There are many excellent alternatives in Port de Pollença, and after today, we’ve decided not to return...
Read more5 star Hotel.. 1 star service.
Restaurant was half full and staff buzzing around. Looked OK.
Ordered 3 coffees and 1 milkshake. 30 mins later coffees arrived no milk shake (€8.50 for milk and chocolate sauce mixed up! Steep).
After a further 15 mins no milkshake (youngest was distraught).
We politely asked to have it - at which the bar staff rolled her eyes muttered something and went her way.
In the meanwhile the table next to us, also exasperated at the service, vocally informed a staff member they had been waiting 20+ mins to get served and decided to leave.
After another 10 mins still no milkshake so decided to cancel it and asked for the bill minus the shake. 10 mins later no bill!!!!! So had to go into the bar and insist to have the bill and pay there and then.
No apologies or anything for lack of milkshake. Barely an acknowledgement of our patronage. Poor customer focus. Over an hour at a not very busy restaurant for 3 coffees and a shake????
Will not be visiting again for an over priced milkshake and alleged 'best coffee in pollensa' plenty of other delightful bars willing to serve with a smile and great...
