La Penya, Pollença — Restaurant in Pollença

Visiting this restaurant 7 years on, an earlier visit (under a different name - the restaurant!), and were all looking forward to return.

The food didn't disappoint - the pizzas were very thin with generous toppings, the pasta and lasagne were very nice too.

I booked a table outside an hour before we wanted it and it was ready and waiting. We don't mind waiting and were happy to watch the world go by in this good spot in the town, however, 1.5 hours was a bit too long to wait for our food and by the time the meals arrived we were no longer that hungry.....hence 4*. Not sure if there was a problem or if its just very slow...

Great visit in quiet Pollenca. We have ordered two differrent burgers and for the first time we were asked how we would like our meat 👍. We took medium and they were perfect - juicy, fresh made, well seasoned and with great and very tasty and crisp home made french fries. Beer and wine were excellent too. PASS YOUR WAY OUT, WORST RESTAURANT IN TOWN. I don’t usually comment but this time I had to. The old waitress was so irrespectful towards us, we asked for 2 drinks then she arrived with 3, we asked her politely we are two and asked simply for two, she strarted insulting and being rude.
