our host recommended this place and said it was one of the best so we listened and decided to try it out.

we were lucky because when we came, one table just cleared so we were seated immediately. the service was quick and we got our drinks and churros. the churros were a bit more savoury than most but that didn’t bother me. you can dip them in chocolate or not, either way i found them tasty.

the problem started when we finished the churro, the server came and took our plate. i still had some chocolate left, however she just took it before i could tell her that i wasn’t done. not one minute later another server came and just told us the final sum, we paid and wanted to sit for a while longer (not 25minutes had passed since we initially sat down). however as soon as we paid she just led another couple and motioned to our table and very rudely said for us to stand up because we are done.

felt like i was in NYC because this had not happened to me before in Spain (and the...

The Cafetería Churrería Alba is famous in Ronda for its wonderful churros, which you dunk into creamy cafe con leche or thick hot chocolate. Mmm!

It's in the Carrera Espinel, the pedestrianised main shopping street. If you look at a Ronda street map, it is just below the junction with the Calle Naranja. If you ask for directions from a passer-by, you may be confused by the reference to the "Calle La Bola", which is what the Carrera Espinel is popularly called. :-)

It's got small premises, with only a few tables squashed in one corner. Most people stand at the bar. The churros are freshly made for each order, so may take a moment to arrive. But when they do arrive, they are light, airy, crispy and not at all greasy.

Still full of calories, however, but you can console yourself that you are ingesting these calories in a place that most tourists don't...

I went to this place based on a bunch of YouTube videos praising the place . Craving the famous churros . But I was disappointed . I order the churros without knowing how much there were because the menu didn’t have the price , I order just one wheel thank god and it was more than enough because I didn’t like it . the churros taste like old oil; and they were really oily too . Plus it was just one waitres to take care of the whole place . She was really fast but it seems too rush and kinda in a bad mood . I think the place is...

The service is really good and the waitress was very kind. We got one serving of churros and coffee. Churros is nice and coffee is enough for people who do not seek high quality. The price is very good! Their iced coffee is a bit weird...you have to pour the coffee over the ice.on your own and we were a bit scared the glass will break. One portion of churros is huge, however, we were not sure about the taste. It was a bit salty which we weren't expecting.
