Would give 0 stars if possible. My partner and I walked up and down the street looking for a pizza shop. We stayed close to the Pizzeria in this review and we walked over, had a read of the menu and decided we would dine there. There was a lady (assuming owner or wife of owner) standing at the first row of tables when we were reading the menus. We the walked up the stairs into the outside area and walked inwards to the only free area of tables near the inside door where she was standing.
Not once did she acknowledge us, she stared at us the entire walk up and we stood right in front of her and not a single word.
We the sat down at the table next to her, her husband then came out to talk about something and she proceeded to walk over to a other table to talk and then came back.
She stood directly within arms reach of us for about a minute not a single word uttered until a friend walked over and in Spanish started getting loud and angry. I saw other patrons staring at us and instantly knew she was referring to us and then I saw her hand gestures pointing to the entrance, pointing to herself the pointing directly at my partner and I. She then after about 20 seconds of Spanish abuse and all the guests staring at us and she switched to English when the word "uneducated" was uttered several times while still performing hand gestures and pointing within maybe 30 cms of my partner and I.
Absolute disgusting person she was, I promptly told my partner I no longer trust her to deal with my food and simply stood up and left. Worst service I've...
Read moreThe best about this restaurant are the ice creams they sell in the next door. They are very good, especially lemon and dark chocolate. Food wise, the menu it's too long and combines Italian and random Spanish options. Pizzas: the flavour is not too bad and the base is thing which should be good but it was pure cardboard. When I asked the waitress if they were made there she said that the chef makes them the way he learnt in Italy but they definitely tasted Frozen to me. They were rock solid and difficult to cut. Not something you'll find in Italy. My little one asked for some Cuore, which are heart shaped tortellini, they were really under cooked and tasted bought somewhere but not made in a restaurant. As per the mushroom sauce, it tasted readymade from a supermarket. We will go back for the ice-cream not for the food. The price is reasonable if the...
Read moreWas really looking forward to eating here...how wrong we were! First ordered Estrella to drink, brought us something else, really strong I'd never heard of! Ok..never mind. Food came and what a disaster. Escalope marinated in lemon was vile, I have no idea what meat it was! Totally inedible. Iberian pork was 2 big lumps of fat. Chips were actually potato slices. Pizza was obviously a frozen 1 probably from over the Spar and even that was cooked badly. Waitress was really rude, only speaking Spanish and talking to other guests about us whilst clearing our almost full plates from the table! Absolutely shocking. €70 and still starving. Where's the nearest...
