Es Mirall — Restaurant in Sóller

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Es Mirall during our trip to Mallorca, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable culinary experiences we've had in Mallorca. The setting is absolutely stunning – the restaurant boasts a beautiful view over the Port de Sóller, with its peaceful harbor, swaying boats.Just sitting there, with a glass of wine and that view, was already worth the visit.

But the food... the food was exceptional. We started with a selection of cold dishes, including a Tapas Plate and a beautifully presented Burrata. Every bite was fresh and full of flavor, and the ingredients felt carefully chosen and of high quality. For our main courses, we chose the Tortelloni and the Beef Cheeks – both dishes were a highlight. The tortelloni were perfectly cooked, delicate yet rich, filled with a delicious creamy stuffing and dressed in a sauce that tied everything together wonderfully. The beef cheeks were incredibly tender, slow-cooked to perfection, melting in the mouth with a deep, savory flavor that lingered long after the last bite. To accompany our meal, we ordered a bottle of red wine – a fantastic recommendation. It paired beautifully with the beef and pasta, enhancing every flavor without overpowering the dishes. Throughout the evening, the service remained professional yet relaxed. The staff were friendly and attentive. Timed the meal perfectly – we never felt rushed, nor did we wait too long.

In short, everything was amazing – from the food and wine to the atmosphere and service. Es Mirall strikes that rare balance between elegance and comfort, quality and soul. Whether you're celebrating something special or just want to enjoy an evening of exceptional Mediterranean cuisine with a view, this place is more than worth a visit. The view was nice, the drinks were nice, but seriously guys, your cannelloni and stuffed squid was the worst food we had in Mallorca. Don’t eat there. EDIT AFTER ES MIRALL COMMENT: Waiter never asked us if we liked the food. We were actually wainting for that, but nobody gived a damn. Found this little gem on Google and it didn’t disappoint! We ordered the stuffed squid and stuffed aubergine, they were very tasty and you could feel the ‘home-cook’ in them. Really appreciate the ice cream also, they were amazing. We also loved that it is a bit on the quieter slope side but still has a beautiful view of the port.
