Potentially my experience was unique. However, it's been a while since I experienced such rude service.
We were a party of four and one person just wanted a drink and another wasn't going to eat due to dietary restrictions. Nevertheless, my wife and I were looking forward to a nice meal.
The waiter, in a detogatiry tone talked down to me and said that half the people not eating wasn't a very good business model.
It was early evening, not even 6:30PM, and the place was empty.
We walked out in disbelief and whent next door to El Pirata, incredibly friendly staff, and welcomed us to a table.
I get the importance of paying customers for a business to thrive, however El Pirata got it right and had paying customers early evening while most of the place was empty and will gains good review. El Raco des Port got it wrong, lost customers and gained a bad review.

The staff are superb, but the place does get exceptionally busy so they are rushed at times and service can be a little slow at the peak of service. But don't let this put you off because the food is brilliant! All food is freshly prepared (no re-heated chips or veggies!) and tastes amazing. They also have a really good selection of very decent wines, including a Mallorcan Rioja that you should order a bottle of! The potatoes were cold, the salad old and poorly dressed. One member of the party was served mains as others were near finished. A table next to us was having tapas. One of their dishes arrived 40 minutes after ordering. That’s a long time to wait when you’re having a salad and two dishes, the customers did not look best pleased, to say the least.
