A good find in such a vast theme park. It was very crowded and loud, but that's to be expected. The queue didn't take long, and although it was a bit confusing to begin with it is essentially just like a school canteen. For around €20 you can get a meal deal consisting of Starter, main, dessert and drink. The nachos were surprisingly good, with several dips available. The vegetarian meatballs were some of the best I've had, although the bar for that isn't particularly high, and the chocolate burrito for dessert was actually really nice. A great way to end off an actual decent meal. Our drinks were automatically put in a reusable cup, which cost a €1 extra, but I didn't mind as it's essentially a souvenir. The staff who served us were lovely and friendly, and helpful when picking out food. Unfortunately we seemed to miss the lunch show, and instead were treated to what seemed like 2 or 3 school trips of children all arriving at the same time. Sadly most people left messes everywhere, but the staff were great at cleaning it all up quickly and efficiently. Overall the food was surprisingly good and for 3 courses and a drink it was quite cheap, especially for...
Read moreOf all the places we had a meal this was one of the best. They have a decent selection to choose from here and the dining area is very unique and often has shows to entertain while you dine. the only reason I took point off this review is how deceptive this place can be. From the outside it looks much smaller. As we had children who were hungry we wanted to go somewhere without a large queue. The problem is when you arrive in there is a MASSIVE indoor queue which you cannot see from outside and once in the queue there is no easy way out unless you push past other guests to get through and then duck under the rails to exit. There is no estimated time listed and as it is a self serve buffet you wait while people select the dishes they want and we waited a good 20 minutes before giving up and just pushing our way out. We did try it again another day when it was not busy and it was a much better experience but my advise is to come prepared to leave unless you have an hour or so to wait in the queue...
Read moreGrab and go restaurant in the Mexico land at PortAventura World Park. This represents the budget option for lunch, accepting that this doesn't make it exactly cheap being at a theme park. The menu is Mexican themed with burritos on offer along side the standard chicken and chips options. Food is served from a set menu similar to a school canteen. Taking a tray down a line of counters, staff then pass you an assortment of dishes based on your choices. While the range of food isn't overwhelming it is all well coocked and vast in quantity. Under the meal deal you get a starter, main, dessert and a drink (adult ticket). The restaurant is setup opposite a stage where a lunchtime show can be enjoyed...
