POTTER’S BAR RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Salou

We ate here for the last 3 nights during our holiday and were very impressed with the food; however tonight the boss made us feel very unwelcome with our 11 month old baby, as if he was too messy to eat there, despite us always offering to clean up any dropped food etc. He came to our table twice to make a comment about our baby and then sent the waitress to offer us a spoon for the baby because he was clearly annoyed that he was dropping food. The waitress admitted it is difficult to keep it tidy when the high chairs do not have any tables and appeared apologetic for the way the boss was acting. We just quickly got the bill and left without finishing our meals as he was staring at us and muttering to the other staff members, which just made us feel like we weren't welcome at all. Such a shame as we had previously been very happy...

We absolutely loved the place and went in every day of our holiday

The food was amazing and the staff were great

Anthea is lovely as are the rest of the staff

To those who complain about Anthea (Heckling) potential customers I say come on, give it a rest

We never felt pressured and had some lovely conversations with her

She has a job to do and does it really well in our opinion

The pizzas are amazing and the baguettes went down a treat

We stayed at the Vintage Hotel next door and welcomed a nice breakfast and lunch at the bar

The included breakfast at the hotel wasn't very good but the food at Harry Potters hit the spot

We will definitely pop back to Harry Potters whenever we pop back...

We popped by Harry Potter bar twice during our week in Salou. The first time we wanted to watch the football, the second time we decided to have another go at the quiz.

At 9pm every night there's a free quiz with prizes for the first and last placed teams. We found it good fun and something our son could take part in too.

Both nights in there we ended up chatting to the people around us and there was good atmosphere around the place.

It's not the most high end establishment you'll visit but drinks were very reasonably priced, they show football, there's a pool table, and a few things like a small trampoline and some games machines for...
