An Unforgettable Dining Experience – Our Favorite in Playa del Inglés!

This is hands down our absolute favorite restaurant in Playa del Inglés. The moment you step in, you can feel the heart and soul of the place – it’s owned by a wonderful local family who pour genuine passion into everything they do. Their story, rooted in local ingredients and traditions, is as beautiful as the food is delicious.

Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and made with care. We were especially blown away by the Anturium King Prawns and the Mundo Steak – both were extraordinary. And don’t even get us started on the Tiramisu… quite possibly the best we've ever had!

The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and truly authentic. The people here are simply amazing – kind, attentive, and full of joy. We left every visit with full hearts and even fuller smiles.

We loved it so much we went twice during our stay – and would have gone a third time if it weren’t for the restaurant being closed one evening due to the carnival. That has never happened to us on a vacation before – returning to the same restaurant multiple times!

We’re used to fine dining and gourmet experiences, and this place easily makes it into our top 3 in Playa del Ingles. Everything is fresh, local, and made with love.

I simply love this restaurant. Pepe and his team repeatedly pull out all the stops to engage with you and serve you some of the best cuisine you’ll find in Gran Canaria.

I have, in recent visits to the island, eaten at this restaurant five or six times, following a recommendation from my hotel.

I can honestly say each and every visit has been a delight.

The staff are excellent hosts, and the team do their very best on each occasion for your customer experience to be top-notch and for the food and wine to be simply first class.

I found the fillet steak and mushroom sauce mouthwatering.

As a single traveller, over the years I have often dined at the restaurant alone, and Pepe (now retired) and his team are entertaining and engaging and does all he can to ensure that your visit and your meal is a success.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant, and hope to revisit next week when I return for a restful week in late summer sunshine.

My only other tip (or advice) would be to check in advance when you plan to stay to ensure that the restaurant has not closed for its annual holidays...

How can this place have a rating of 4,7? Location and atmosphere did not look good whatsoever, but we trusted the rating and entered — one of my worst restaurant choices in my entire 40 years of traveling, and being a travel agency owner. If you don’t trust me, I dare you try.

Edit after the restaurant response: lies like putting bare feet on the table cannot better your dishes, only gusto and hard work can save your reputation. I am sure now that 4.7 star rating is paid. You should have asked once if the food was good when taking full plates back to the kitchen. Clearly you are used to this ritual. I hope you manage to bake your bread thoroughly and not serve PlayDoh to...
