After looking for the right place to eat we found “Good Vibes”. The reviews we read beforehand were very good. Despite the good reviews we didn’t want to have any expectations, however upon arival we got seated by a very nice waiter. We got the menu for drinks and dinner and placed our order quickly. The overall vibe there was good, just like the name says! The interior was very warm, inviting and the music was good. We got also got served by two other waitresses who were very nice and checked on us every now and then. The service was fast and the food got served hot. Fresh from the kitchen. The flavours and presentation were amazing! Our personal favorites were the home made iced teas. Which seemed like a weird combination but was actually our favorite was the strawberry basil iced tea, a should get!

When we got our food the waitress gave us two plates so we could share. After ordering for a second time we got new cutlery and plates for sharing. We got the BBQ chicken wings which were delicious. We asked for the check and it became pretty busy so they forgot to bring it to us. We didn’t mind waiting but after asking for a second time they immediately got it and said they were sorry for the wait and gave us two shots on the house.

I had a truly disappointing experience at Good Vibes Cocktail Bar & Restaurant in Maspalomas. My partner and I arrived, and there was a table free, so we politely asked if we could sit. To our surprise, the host immediately said "no" without any effort to offer an alternative or even suggest a wait time for a table to become available. There was no attempt to accommodate us, and it felt as though we weren’t even being considered as potential customers.

In situations like this, a simple, courteous suggestion such as "We don’t have availability right now, but if you’re willing to wait for a short time, a table will be free soon" would have made a huge difference. Instead, the interaction was dismissive, and it left a very negative impression.

It’s frustrating when you encounter such a lack of professionalism, especially when there are empty tables and no clear reason why we couldn't be seated. As a mixed-race couple, it’s hard to ignore how this experience felt — it seemed more about us being unwelcome than any real issue with seating. I really hope the staff at Good Vibes can reconsider how they engage with guests and work on offering solutions, especially when customers are simply looking to enjoy a meal or drink.

This is a really nice place that the owners have created, with high end prices to match ! Cocktails are on average €10 each and one that was great the Peach Mojito however the Long Island Iced Tea was really weak and the Cola used had severely lost all of its fizz ! Onto the food my fiancé had the Crispy Chicken which we both agreed was super tasty indeed, and I had the Black burger which on the menu should have also been super tasty too, however it was really bland and completely spoiled by the amount of gloopy mayonnaise/sauce that completely overtook all the other ingredients, this gloop also made it incredibly difficult to pick up and eat, my onion rings where also missing from my plate too. The fries were cooked really well on both plates. My fiancé ordered the Bailey's chocolate bomb I think it was, this was apparently super nice. The service was good and both servers were not overly attentive but just right and getting the bill was an easy affair 👍🏻 which brings me onto the bill....... €55 was it good value ? For me I will say no because for over €25 a head I have had much better food and drinks, and the burger at €15 was way overpriced mainly due to the lack of flavour. This was not worth our trip from...
