This place is overrated, period! We went on a monday night around 21.00, had to wait 10 minutes before a waiter approached us and offered drinks. We ordered olives, bread, alioli, prawns, chicken kebab and bacon dates. Had to wait 40 mintes for bread and olives then 10-15 minutes for every dish thereafter. The dishes were a bit tasteless when they finally arrived. The bacon dates seemed to have been deep fried, which meant the bacon wasn't crispy. The chicken and the prawns we had to dip in the aioli to give the impression of taste. Overall the food was at best average, and the service was poor. Overall 2 out of 5. We are currently on holiday in Gran Canaria and really wanted to go out for tapas. Friends of ours recommended the restaurant, saying it was the best tapas in town. So we went. Not only would we say that they are the best tapas in town, but also on the whole island. The portion sizes are so perfect that you can put together the meal of your choice at a more than fair price! The individual dishes come one after the other, and simply every one of them is to die for! Whenever we are back in Gran Canaria - this tapas bar is a must! And you, dear reader, should...

Nunja, wir waren zu dritt und hatten von den Kritiken und Empfehlungen mehr erwartet.

Waren die Mehrzahl der Gäste mit den hohen Bewertungen noch nie Tapas in Spanien essen oder nur in Touristen-Hochburgen?

Der Laden strahlt Gemütlichkeit aus 👍👍 Portionen eher klein, geschmacklich auch nichts besonderes und dafür überteuert - war ein Versuch - schade 👎, aber man kann nicht immer Glück haben.

Die hochgelobte Sangria war eine Enttäuschung (geschmacklich wie inhaltlich - bestand hauptsächlich aus Kristalleis, wenn bei 1L gerade mal 3x 0,2 Gläser rauskommen 🤦‍♂️ 3 harte nichts sagende Brötchen, die man separat bestellen muss 🤦‍♂️

Nichts richtig mit Pfiff, eher Durchschnitt - gefühlt ruht man sich hier auf den bisherigen Lorbeeren aus und verkleinert die Portionen zum eigenen Gewinn.

Wollten gerne mit dem Chef darüber reden, der angeblich zu uns kommen wollte, doch der ließ sich nicht blicken, obwohl der Laden gerade nicht voll war, stattdessen kam nur die Rechnung und ein Shot 👎 Versuchten noch ein Gespräch mit ihm zu finden, doch ohne Erfolg. Er lachte einen nur aus. Schwache Leistung - können von unserer Seite leider keine Empfehlung für das Essen und insbesondere für das Verhalten des Chefs aussprechen, der scheinbar nicht mit Kritik umgehen kann.

Wir geben gerne auch ein paar Euro für gutes, interessantes Essen aus, aber diese...
