Edited review: 3 years ago I gave this a 5 star review. We returned last night. Slider starters were good. The steak main was only okay and came with undercooked chips. The chimmichuri isn't made with fresh herbs and had an unpleasant funk to it. My partner has a nut allergy and last time getting a dessert wasn't a problem. They seem to be making desserts in advance these days because nuts couldn't be removed from what he wanted. He ended up getting freezer burnt vanilla ice cream. The waiter knocked over our bottle of wine during the dinner and didn't do anything to make up for how much was wasted.

We're not going to risk this place again.

Love this place!

Our waitress was really lovely. The restaurant itself has a great aesthetic. The food was the best me and my partner have had on the island so far. Good price for good food!

Starters: falafel and pulled pork roll Mains: steak with chimichurri and potato crisps and ribs with potato crisps Desserts: pan cookie with ice cream and 22° cup; a mix of cream, ice cream, meringue and brownie with choice of chocolate or toffee sauce. Drinks: 2 glasses of wine, 2 cokes, 2 coffees Extras: bread with tomato spread

All were excellent. €78 total....

After trying out their meals as take-away for a few times, we decided to ask the owner if we could block around 40 seats at the Allende on a saturday afternoon to celebrate the baptism of our son. From the first meeting on, we never felt left alone by anyone of team, wether while planning the menu, the decision of the best wines to serve nor while trying to figure out about a seating solution. The whole team was fabulous and most important: never did i feel like they had no time for me. The "event"-evening itself was fabulous. The food was delicious, the team absolutlely polite and perfect. I am writing this in detail, as It is a difference if you come as couple or with around 40 people ranging from 12 to 90. We did not knew if the "fusion"-like food would be the perfect thing, specially for the elderly - at the end everyone was absolutely astonished about the results of the menu. And not one of our guests said anything negative about either the food, the service or the location. I am absolutely happy about the way i was treated and supported and do not regret to have choosen the Allende as location for such a special day for my sun. Thanks to the whole staff...
