What a surprise! I've frequented Gran Canaria for many years now and not once have I tried this place, until now. What a mistake! It has a fantastically authentic cantina style and the friendliest happy staff. They make fantastic menu recommendations so listen to what they suggest.

The steak here is simply amazing. Whatever size or cut you order is going to come up HUGE! So be prepared for it. It's all amazingly fresh. Cooked very well and skillfully in an open kitchen and comes with some great sides. Be aware that as with most Spanish steak restaurants they are cooking your meat to the rarer side of your order so I'd recommend going one up. For example if you normally have rare take medium rare or medium as a rare steak with come up closer to the blue side of things.

If you're whole party isn't into steak not to worry they have a fantastic selection of other dishes. The pizzas are amazing and the look and smell devine.

Drinks are cheap and plentiful.

All in all its a very deceptive restaurant it looks like you're going to get a much less refined experience than you will end up with. And as always with eating abroad look for where the locals go. This place is always filled with locals so you know it's good. Not to mention cheap. You'll not fine good quality meat at a cheaper price anywhere...

We were recommended this restaurant and had high hopes, the waiting staff were fine, the mixed grill came and the lamb was very rare (not a problem for us but may put off other diners), the pork was pink-ish, whilst the chicken was decent enough, the chips were of poor quality - little effort made here. The main was their speciality dish, 500g of their fine steak - however, when we cut through it was totally raw on the inside (we had requested medium rare), incidentally the cook who had cooked this subsequently disappeared (end of shift?) - perhaps he couldn't be bothered to do it properly and just wanted to go for some beers...anyway, a member of staff continued cooking the steak, we let it rest, and it was still raw in the middle! We sent it back a third time, a different cook attempted to correct the errors, and finally...we had a steak which was medium rare after resting...we cannot emphasise how important it is to rest the meat after cooking, a step which is totally lost on this restaurant - they seemed to want to rush through service without any effort to ensure that quality is delivered. Totally avoid this place - they can't cook a steak and yet they label themselves a steakhouse,...

Ordered Seafood rice for me and my son. Takes more than 25 mins and nothing come. Other people come later than us already had food. But my son was not in patience so he can’t wait . It was very annoying why the waiter didn’t mentioned it lastly very rude to say if you don’t want , you can go. It just like customer can’t complain, if you complaint a little bit. They will kick you off to the restaurant. Terrible Service I never had. First time in Gran Canaria. Let me tell you solution: Push your chief speed up and tell your customers the situation and say sorry to the customer with other solutions. May be we can have something quickly.
