Decided to eat here as it was near our hotel. What a mistake. After ordering a pork escalope meal and my husband a chicken burger I watched the next table drinking what looked like lovely liquor cofees and a couple of tables sent out some ice cream desserts all made at the bar area which looked delicious. However when our plates came out to say they were not good is to understate it. My escalope was not hot in the middle a little pink and a little soggy also served with chips instead of the baked potatoes on the menu . I was worried about eating what I though was food which had been frozen and not cooked to the required tempreture so ate around the outside leaving most of it. My husbands chicken burger was the oddest chicken burger I've ever seen, looked like a mechanically retrieved burger made out of anything but chicken and a strange colour pink in parts and brown in others. When asked about it the waiter said it was pork and walked away when it was pointed out he had ordered a chicken burger the same waiter said it was Spanish chicken and walked away again not accepting this my husband pointed out the strange colouring and that no chicken product could look like this he snatched the plate away showed it to the chef who shrugged and never returned to our table. When we asked for the bill my husband pointed out that he didn't eat his meal and the rudest waiter I have ever came across said and not politely,he gets people like us don't want to pay our bills so he would take one of the meals off. that was the last straw for my husband who asked for the manager and refused to pay for both meals paying only for our drinks. I've never seen my husband so angry and prepared to make a show of himself in a restaurant but this was the worst and rudest...
Read moreI’ll be honest, I was a bit hesitant at first because the restaurant looked quite touristy, but I was having lunch quite early so I didn’t know what else I could get in the area.
The staff here was a bit apprehensive to me at first, but once they knew I was going to eat I think they were quite welcoming. I decided to order the prawns, and when the dish arrived I was a bit worried it wouldn’t be enough food. I was truly mistaken. Six prawns, potatoes and salad was more than enough to make me completely full. I will admit that the prawns weren’t perhaps the best ones I’ve had, the lacked the little natural sweetness, but they were still really good and I feel like they did indulge the seafood vibe. The potatoes were really good, they remind me of the midsummer potatoes in Sweden is the freshest batch that has that nice moisture to them, and on top of that they were perfectly salted. The salad also felt quite fresh. The one thing I’d comment on was that the sauces they had accompanying the dish were quite off, they had something that I think was some kind of ranch, some garlic one and one tomato based one. I felt like none of them really synchronized with the flavor of the prawns, which was a bit of a shame. I think if there was some kind of oil/chili/garlic/thyme dip, it would send this dish to amazing levels. I’m aware, however, that Gran Canaria caters to Nordic customers, who in general love the dairy-based dips.
All in all I think this is def worth having a bite at, I think the only thing was that I ordered half a bottle of wine, but I didn’t get the default house wine so it tabbed up a little more, but I honestly really feel like it was still really good, and I...

Prices are reasonably good for the area. The host of the restaurant is very talkative and welcoming. Asking you kindly which country you coming from, and gives you menu on your language. I felt really good and that was kind of personal touch. As I client I like that . Because next time when I come back I know if I go there I will be treated like valuable customer.
We had stater, pizza and pasta as you can see.
Everything was delicious. Just for the starter I expected cheese to be little bit longer under the grill. But was delicious.
We had glass of vine and bottle of water with the meal we paid €30
Also the night when we went was bit windy and cold so they had gas heaters out. Really good feeling. Wasn’t cold but was good of them.
Keep it the good work ! Definitely will come...
