La Tasca de Cristian — Restaurant in San Cristóbal de La Laguna

We have enjoyed a delicious lunch at this Tasca. Service was very good, and prices reasonable. A shame the pork was served rare, but it was promptly corrected. Highly recommended if you are looking for gourmet food that is nicely served. They also prepared a nice dish of breaded chicken breast with potato fries for our daughter. The accompanying bread was very nice, and we all enjoyed a beautiful white wine. It ambiance is cosy and quiet. Toilets are very clean, which isn't common in Tenerife! The restaurant is very small and gets fully booked quickly, so reservations are required. Overall, I would say this is one of the best restaurants on the island, and one we will definitely want to revisit.

Update: On our last visit in December 2022, we found this restaurant to be too expensive. Nicely cooked, but overall not great...

Our favourite of three (all excellent) dinners in La Laguna! Felt like the perfect mix of old school and modernized restaurant, with a focus on quality of ingredients used in a traditional but also creative manner complimented by outstanding service. Our salad of fried chicken was incredibly tasty (although certainly not "light") and the mushrooms with jamon and egg were a delight. We visited this restaurant earlier in the week during our stay in La Laguna and had an absolutely delicious meal, outstanding service and a warm and inviting atmosphere. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The octopus starter was delicious, the Canarian wine perfect and our servers were attentive and superb. The value for money was excellent.
