Yabushi Ramen — Restaurant in San Sebastián

We came here on a Saturday, it was a little busy. But not crazy.

First thing the waiter tells us, is that he is basically out of everything. A bit of a shame but I thought, oké can happen. Must be good here if you sold out everything. My girlfriend is vegetarian, so we asked what they have. And this was the red flag. They have a ramen, with CHEESE????? Apple, tomato and raw red onion… these are all toppings that should NOT!! Go on any Japanese dish. And we should’ve just walked away right then and there. But we walked for 30 minutes to get here so we decided to stay. The broth for the Vega ramen tasted like dirty dish water. I tasted a bit and spit it straight out. Horrible horrible horrible!!!! If the “chef” would’ve tasted it. He would have never ever send it to a customer. It was disgusting.

. I had shoju ramen, which was kinda oke. I mean, it had some flavor. The egg was just a boiled egg. Not the 60degrees egg that goes with ramen. I had 2 little bamboo shoots on mine. And some burned ground beef. Portion size was really small also. I finished mine in a couple of minutes and my girl only ate the small amount of noodles but left everything else.

One good thing, they did not charge us of the dirty water. But that was the only good thing.

This ramen shop needs to rethink if they want to sell ramen. I will never go back. Worst...

Pasta were good but the big minus was the broth that were mostly water with salt so not a lot of taste. Egg was cooked well but not like japanaes style in miso. There was definitely not a lot of meat maybe one big spoon not to joke and no vegetable or mushroom exept mais and onion.

I’m sorry but i don’t recommend this if you want to eat a good or even a simple ramen. The current notation is definitly not correct and this should not pass the 3 star max at current state

Me parece uno de los mejores sitios probar el ramen en la ciudad. En mi caso, es mi favorito de todo los que he probado. El local es pequeño, por tanto, no hay demasiadas mesas, habra sitio para unas 14 personas dentro y otras tres mesas fuera. El local es muy coqueto y se puede ver cocinar al cocinero el ramen. En este restaurante solamente hay ramen, y solamente tres tipos de ramen. Creo recordar que era un ramen de shoyu vegetariano, otro ramen de miso y y otro de shoyu de cerdo. En nuestro caso nos decantamos por las últimas dos. El cocinero nos preguntó si nos gustaba el picante, y al no ponernos de acuerdo, nos trajo un botecito en el que había alguna especia picante. A nosotros nos gustó mas el shoyu de cerdo en principio, estaba sabroso y en su punto de sal. En cambio el ramen de miso nos pareció que estaba un poco soso, pero seguramente por no haberle echado nada de picante. Por tanto, nos decantamos por echarle un poco de picante a pesar de no ser yo muy fan de ello. Y el resultado fue que mejoró muchísimo el ramen. El día que nosotros fuimos, solamente habia un trabajador en el recinto y tenía muchi trabajo que hacer el solo, por eso tardó un poquito en atendernos. Pero la verdad, después de atendernos, nos sirvió el ramen casi instantáneamente y fue muy amable. En total pagamos 28.5€, cada ramen eran 14€ (miso) y 14.5€ el de Shoyu. No se puede reservar con antelación, por tanto, dependerá de la cantidad de gente que vaya al local para poder comer o cenar antes. Sin duda es un lugar al que recomendaría ir en pareja o...
