ESPARRU — Restaurant in San Sebastián

Came here for lunch thinking about eating a serious meal. Ended up getting a sandwich because of the language barrier and I was hungry. So i thought it may be a good snack. Little did i know the heavens would burst open the second I've tried to take a bite. I started drooling uncontrolably between every bite soaking all my clothes and releasing at least 1,6l of water from my body in the process. I saw angels flying around with my third eye and angelic music playing without actually being able to open my eyes once. The sheer joy I fealt made me scared seeing just a normal sandwich bringing out such incredable harmony of tastes wouldn't do the moment...

Got sick after eating one of the pintxos here. It was a smoked salmon that the waiter recommended. I'm pretty sure it was sitting out for a while and they were just trying to get rid of them. I would definitely not eat any of the pintxos that are on the table at night since you don't know how long they've been sitting there. We had to push our flight a few hours so we'd have time to recover. Currently writing this as I'm attempting to...

Bar de Amara de hace muchos años.Terraza a calle y plaza peatonal,con algo de jardín. Estámuy bien para tomar aperitivo o menú del día en primavera o verano. Decoración antigua estilo mesón,cuya falta de renovación también lo hace atractivo. Excelente y tradicional de la ciudad el Pintxo sobre pan frito de Huevo ,anchoa y gamba,que ya tomaban nuestros abuelos donostiarras. El Pintxo merece la pena una vuelta. Hay otros muchos pintxos tradicionales. El suelo de la zona de la terraza tiene unos interesantes dibujos de los años 70',que extrañamente han sobrevivido. Hay Parque lnfantil en la plaza peatonal a la que da la Terraza. Tanto el público como los camareros son locales.Laterraza donde se come tiene un gran tolde para proteger de la lluvia ⛈️ o del Sol 🫡 excesivo . Me han gustado las Croquetas de jamón y la Ensalada Mixta 🥬 🍅 espárragos, atún, anchoas, aceitunas etc Servicio sencillo pero amable.No son los más modernos de la City,pero qué importa, no? Público...
