Giroki Taberna — Restaurant in San Sebastián

In a rainy Tuesday night, we were a group of four and requested a table. They later moved us because supposedly a bigger group may show up. We were moved to the back of the restaurant, to a place where we couldn't stand stood. The table was for kids. No other group showed up, but we were kept there, kind of punished? The service was dispair, with dishes being served unevenly (some of us had to wait while the others already had the food...). They also messed up with the drinks. That's how you shouldn't treat customers. Maybe they treat tourists better than locals. Well, then you get...

Simplemente brutal, para pintxeo y bocatas, el mejor para mi gusto de la parte antigua. La Carolina, obligatoria probarla al menos una vez. El despliegue de pintxos en barra abre el apetito a cualquiera. Lástima que sea tan estrecho y se pete tanto, pero es lo que tiene que esté todo realmente cojonudo...

Para mi, una visita obligada en cada visita a la bella Donosti desde hace ya facil un par de décadas.

Edit post-pandemia: 3 años después volví y aunque ya no hay rastro de la brutal ristra de pinchos a lo largo de la barra (imagino cosa de sanidad), su especialidad la Carolina sigue siendo una salvajada inabarcable, y los diversos platos combinados, acojonan de solo verlos.
