KROKETERIA DONOSTIARRA — Restaurant in San Sebastián

I arrived in San Sebastián this Sunday, and it seemed like an important festival was taking place — the city was full of people, especially in the Old Town. I wanted to have lunch in a tapas bar, but every place I tried was packed. Several restaurants turned me away because they were full or their kitchens were about to close. Finally, around 3 p.m., I found this tapas bar and was warmly welcomed. I ordered two tapas and two glasses of wine, and everything was delicious. The staff were very friendly and didn’t mind that I don’t speak Spanish — they still made the effort to communicate with me. I had a great experience and would highly recommend...

I just loved that place. My wife wanted to stop, I thought it was cliché... but wow, greatly surprised.

The choices of croquetas is great, but there are also other stuff that look great on the menu - I only had the croquetas though :-)
