We visited this restaurant for a dinner date, with high expectations. I should mention that we are a couple accustomed to traveling, with a strong knowledge of the hospitality and dining industry. The restaurant itself lacks a clear identity. It’s located on a narrow, somewhat obscure road that leads to a venue with an odd mix of outdated, old-fashioned elements blended with modern features. The decor is overly contemporary, and the excessively bright lighting fails to create the right ambiance for an evening meal, leaving the space feeling impersonal and cold. Service was practically non-existent, especially disappointing for a venue at this price point. We ordered a bottle of wine, which was never poured for us by the waiter. At the end of the meal, the coffee was practically thrown onto the table by the bartender, who was unprofessional and rude. Overall, the service didn’t meet even the basic standards expected from a high-end restaurant. The menu offers a seafood option at 150 euros per person, in addition to an à la carte selection. The quality of the ingredients is impressive and nicely displayed at the entrance. We really enjoyed the percebes and langoustines, both excellent, while the razor clams were good. However, we were deeply disappointed by the “spider” crab, which was actually just a common brown crab, sold at 38 euros. The difference is obvious to those with experience in seafood, and I found this attempt to mislead customers unacceptable. After one taste, I decided not to continue and expressed my dissatisfaction to the waiter, who provided an unconvincing explanation. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially for those who expect transparency, quality service, and a cohesive atmosphere from a restaurant of this caliber.

Other comments are right: absolutely overpriced. They are higher priced than another equivalent restaurant who's in Michelin guide we visited the day before and I see no true value in that pricing. The atmosphere is broken by the management who is probably oriented to push sales on customers. Luckily the waitress was very nice (and probably knowing that and feeling bad for us) and allowed to add a couple of bar pintxos that are served only at the bar and not the tables (stupid rule). We absolutely had to avoid the main dishes that goes 150 euros for a single grilled fish and stayed a few of the entrees/basic dish that was the right strategy. The razor clams were bad. Didn't taste fresh.. at 22 euros for 6 clams!? The rest was ok. The grilled octopus was good luckily saving the experience from a full disaster. NOT recommended.

Hands down one of the best seafood experiences I’ve ever had. There’s impressive nuance and finesse with every dish we enjoyed: - grilled scallops - fried spider crab croquettes - grilled octopus - grilled red prawns - creamy rice with clams Many of the poor reviews seem to stem from miscommunication with staff (they probably deal with a decent number of guests), but we found our servers to be incredibly gracious and kind. And then there are folks who complain about the price. Honestly, for the stunning quality, proper cook, and the charcoal grill, this meal is worth more than its weight in gold.

Honestly there’s this girl waitress, super nice, when we walked in, she asked if we wanted to sit in the restaurant, not knowing the price is different ,we agreed! We came to have a small bowl of fish soup at $12.50 not come and pay $28 for it! She insisted it’s the same, when we said for a table at a bar she said there wasn’t! But she just cleared a high table and move to a smaller table… so I had enough, I am on a holiday, I do not wish to feel cornered to eating here. So I said I rather take away and she was pissed, she asked if I was going to go away.. not knowing English is not a bad excuse for her bad service, she was so rude to us after when we went to the bar to order take away.. I ordered my soup and another waiter told me, it won’t be as hot as when u eat here, so I said there’s no seats here, and he showed me the high table… after sitting down and eating she started to be nicer again, but honestly not all Asian want to seat in the restaurant area, some just want to be with everyone else, because of this experience I will not recommend this place, food is...

I thought I’d booked a table online but arrived to be told I didn’t have a reservation. So beware as the website booking is not straightforward. Id asked for a table of the terrace (as this was one of the options) but we arrived to find the terrace was the street which was boarded up due to construction works outside. Not a good start.

As we were early, we were offered a table but it was needed back in 75 minutes. That was on for us so we went with it.

A few pinxos were ordered - anchovies on brioche was very disappointing. Anchovies with red peppers was much better and very tasty.

Rice with clams was too salty for my liking and the 2 grilled prawns we had had seen better days.

It was all mediocre - so much so that I forgot to take any photos!!!!

Wine was lovely and service ok but not very attentive.

Overall not the best place I’ve been - although it appeared popular and a lot of locals came in. Maybe we just caught them on a bad day or ordered wrong but in a city with such a fantastic reputation for food, there’s plenty...
