Museo Del Whisky - Donostia-San Sebastian, Gipuzkoa — Restaurant in San Sebastián

We found our favourite bar in San Sebastián. I went with my four siblings and we had the best evening in a long time. The owner of the local was extraordinary friendly and knew really much about the whiskeys and cocktails they sell, that she gave us really good recommendations. They have a huge selection of whiskey and in our opinion make the best cocktails. The cocktails have some ingredients, that make the cocktails adventurous.

The music was really great and from time to time the bartender challenged us with different logical bar games, which were really funny to solve.

All in all the bar and the atmosphere was really nice and we really felt welcomed and special. The price is very good, we expected that the cocktails and whiskey would be more expensive.

This place is just legit. The owner has been collecting whiskey for almost 30 years. The place has literally millions of dollars worth of whiskey. I could walk and look at all the bottles on the walls. And when you think you looked at everything, they have a downstairs...also chalk full of baller whiskey. I'm in love. The staff is very knowledgable on the whiskey and also makes great cocktails (if your wife wants something besides whiskey for instance). I for one got some whiskey I haven't had, somewhat of a premium price, but bars like this capture my soul. Take my money....

Saw this place in the afternoon as we were waiting for the bus and I am so glad we came back later!! The bartender said they have the largest whiskey collection in Europe with over 3,000 bottles.

The place was an absolute museum of whiskey - countless vibtage bottles & decanter to include some fun vintage American Bourbon bottles.

Our highlight was 2013 Evan Williams black wax top, 9 year. Delicious!! We also tried Basque Whiskey and Old Hobart Cask Strength.
