A peine croyable.

Exceptional little gem in San Sebastian - in particular vegetarians and tourists shouldn't miss this place tugged away at the end of an alley. Unlike most Spanish restaurants, half the menu features creative vegetarian cuisine (while carnivores aren't forgotten). The unique fusion cuisine is rich in spices; the home made ice cream uses a local cheese while the orange-lentil-burger and the use of curry brings up Indian memories. Portions are generous - the "bandit's love" dessert featuring every possible concoction involving chocolate will feed a football team. And tourists will love the fact that the compact menu is provided in no less than seven languages: Spanish, English, French, German, Dutch, Italian, and the local Basque. An exceptionally warm service that feels like truly coming from the heart rounds off...

Also alles in allem ein totaler Reinfall.

Just a lovely place. A small number of dishes (plus some specials - remember to ask about them) done really, really well. Service is intelligent, accommodating, and pleasent. They work hard to make your meal as good as it can be. The food itself is mostly all organic, local and extremely fresh. Today, I had a special asparagus salad (they are just in season) and a special salt cod dish. The two, with two glasses of a nice rose (garnacha, from Navarra) came with a basket of two delicious breads and a desert (I had the house made yogurt with fruit) came in at 23 Euro. If you're in the Gros or Zentroa areas (or at the Zurriola beach) don't hesitate to come here. Much better value than the Old Town, but not as charming.
