Visit as a party of 7. We were welcomed in after 5 mins which in fairness should have told us all we needed to know. Older waiter was not unpleasant however I found him to be slightly abrupt and harassed. He took our drinks order and the drinks arrived sometime later. We then waited another 40 minutes for our food order to be taken. It isn't so easy for us to up and leave as my aunt is in a wheelchair. I work in hospitality and understand you do not want to overwhelm the kitchen but please explain to the customer you're most welcome, please have a drink and we will take your order in the next so many minutes. Having said that once the order was in the food arrived quickly. I asked for swordfish with potatoes and veg it arrived with salad and chips. I mentioned and they brought me vegetables that were salted so much I couldn't eat them. The potatoes were nearly cold and I explained to the waiter and he took them away never to return with them. My son had a pasta dish which was awful looked more like soup. When paying the card machine wasn't working from what I could understand this is a regular occurrence. My kids enjoyed the bread we bought from the supermarket next door on the way home. This review is not meant to be a dig however constructive to allow better...
Read moreDo not eat at this restaurant. They are scam artist ! We had booked an all inclusive hotel that has a restaurant with the same name and did not know where to go so we asked this restaurant if it was the right place and they checked our email 3 times and told us yes it’s all inclusive and they confirmed that it was it was the correct place . After that dinner we left them a tip and they thanked us and gave the children lollipops. The next day they chased us down and demanded we pay them over €200 euro for a crappy meal . Yes it’s our fault for not checking 4 times but also they shouldn’t have lied and told us it’s the correct spot 3 times . We have paid but I just thought other people should be aware that if you get confused don’t trust this restaurant to tell you the truth
Update reply to their comment ; we did check with your manager 3 times , even showed...
Read moreThis is not an authentic Spanish experience at all and neither is the food in any way edible. Patatas bravas were just McCain’s oven wedges with an orange sauce poured over them. Calamari was like rubber and definitely frozen. The sole fish was okay but the ‘sautéed’ potatoes that came with it were just boiled slices of potato doused in either oil or butter and the ‘fresh’ veg was just sad frozen mushy carrots and green beans. When we refused to pay for the starter and chewy squid the waiter didn’t seem to put up much of a fight which shows they agreed and didn’t take too much pride in their food. Would give this place a miss if you have any standards when it comes to food! Don’t understand the positive reviews on here after...
