We started the evening with a great bottle of Canarian white wine! For start, we ordered a serving of bread and butter (I had to take a picture - this small serving of butter was additionally 3€). The bread seemed to be rebaked in individual slices, resulting in a dry crust. The salted butter was missing some salt in my opinion. Unfortunately, the bread and butter arrived after the starters - I hoped it would arrive much more earlier.
The amuse-gueule was a melon with decoration - quite fun to eat and on the sour-sweet side.
For starters, we had the onion soup, the carpaccio as well as the empanadilla. The empanadilla was great, the sriracha mayonnaise fitted quite well. The meat filling was very flavorful and rich. The onion soup was great! Nothing else than what you expect. The carpaccio was also good - however the truffle cream was used very generously. As I am not a fan of truffle (and it was not mentioned on the menu) this was not the best case for me.
The main course was the Bacalao, which was of course very deeply (and nicely) seasoned and was served with a very delicious sauce. I nice side dish would have been a great addition. The steak was ordered medium and medium well (we shared the order). What we received was far in the rare section. Luckily, the meat was very great quality and had phenomenal taste, so we enjoyed it anyways. However, we consulted the waitress afterwards to check with her that the doneness of the steak was too far off from what we ordered and that next time they might want to pay attention to what the guest ordered. Her answer was that „unfortunately, everyone in Spain eats the steak rare, so we serve it that way“. This answer was not what I expected, as we were specifically asked how we want the steak cooked…
To finish off, we had the chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream and raspberry crisp. The lava cake was phenomenal. The ice cream was obviously store-bought, but good quality.
All in all, the quality of food is great. The flavour was sometimes not what I imagined and personally didn’t hit my taste 100%.
However, I would still recommend to try the restaurant as they deliver a high level of food on a reasonable...

Read moreI'd start with a spoiler. It was fine dining to the finest extent; a one-of-a-kind experience. I arrived at the restaurant at the earliest hours of 17:30, I was quickly greeted by the friendly Stefano. All was quiet, for the early hours of a Tuesday. The atmosphere exhibited elegance and stillness.
The food I ordered went like so, starters with bread service and taco starter. That taco starter made for the correct first impressions of what was to come - pure excellence. The bread service was fitting for when my hunger needed sating, and it was delicious. Then came the course: Iberian croquettes with a Banana Aioli, a unique and delicious flavour experience highly recommended for the adventurous palettes.
Main course: Pork Secreto Iberico with barbecue sauce, a favourite dish of the canaries. Meat that defines the "melt in your mouth" experience, lying on a tangy sauce. A side of externally crispy and internally fluffy fries. Absolutely Excellent.
My drink, par the still water to clean my palette, was a Mango Cocktail. I'm not sure of its contents, (Spanish is not my forte) but again, it was an excellence, a blend of mango sweetness and some spices.
After such a riveting dishes, I was simply too tempted to resist a desert. I chose the fusion of Columbian and Canary passions. It was a fruity mix of a variety complex textures and flavours all glazed in a condensed milk sauce.
My complements to the Columbian chef, Pedro.
The waiter, Stefano, was professional, I enjoyed listening to him guide me through the menu; a delightfully chatty person just as I wish any waiter to be.
Overall, after the meal was done and tips were given. I had a complete experience I had wished and more so. I'd class this restaurant unmissable to all who venture...
