I rarely give low ratings, but after my experience here it's been one of the worst places I've been to, and the worst on my holiday. It was okay at first being offered a table until we asked for the menu in English. We weren't rude or did anything to change the atmosphere, but it did, uou could really tell. As soon as we got the menus they asked what drink. We tried to rush to find the drinks they offered in the menu but the water was like "hellooo" and we had to say we needed time and we did say time in Spanish. But we didn't mean an hour!! They constantly walked past our table, all smiley to the other customers, saw us and frowned. I have anxiety anyway so I worry a lot if I'm doing something wrong or look weird, but my whole table felt the sudden change of atmosphere, like we were outsiders and didn't want us there. But we chose to go there, give them our money and support their business, I'm not sure why they had to be so judgemental. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Anyways, an hour later we got the waiters attention and we ordered both the drinks and food. Drinks were fast food took 30mins -which was fine. By the time they asked for what food we wanted they were very busy and I'm felt like they just wanted us out when people started to wait outside and inside. Food, it was okay. Very salty, didn't need the extra salt if you get the seafood paella. Crabs that were on it looked pretty but held no meat. One of the grilled fish me had was burnt all on one side which was a shame. When we asked for a bill they made fun of one of us as one of us struggled to explain we wanted the bill. Luckily our person was gullible and didn't noticed he laughed at them but me and my partner noticed and thought it was quite mean. It's a shame if they have a stigma against us British, we just wanted food and have a good time. We don't drink or talk loud, not sure why they acted so rude against us. If you got this far well done. It's okay if not. Ps. THEY CHARGED US $6 FOR 5 PIECES OF BREAD WITHOUT ASKING, THEY JUST SLAPPED IT DOWN.

We’ve visited Tenerife already three times - we love to return here for the beautiful views, climate, hospitality but also the delicious food! Each single time, we always look forward to visiting Restaurante Los Pinchitos, which remains with each visit our favourite place to eat. While we tried a couple of other restaurants accross the Island, this is undiscussable the best food, that we have eaten and we always look forward to returning to this little gem in San Andres while visiting Tenerife. With it’s fresh take on some of the best cuisine classics like ceviche or fish tartare, up to the Canarian classics of the national kitchen (cherne fish, lapas, calamares) it never fails with it’s genuine fresh taste, beautiful serving and enormous portions! Worth mentioning is as well the hospitality - we’ve been visiting the place for the third time since 2017, and it remains always a place where you feel welcomed and will always be greeted with a smile! The menu comes in many languages, although we love the fact, that it is also always nicely seen if you try to order something in Spanish - supportive, cheerful and feel at home atmosphere do encourage that! 🙂 This place will forever remain our „go-to”, that we widely recommend also to friends, that visit Tenerife. No matter where you stay in the Island, it is worth a drive and very close to the beautiful Las Teresitas beach. A place with tradition but also a place not afraid of modern takes to the classic dishes - makes it and ideal restaurant where everyone will find something delicious for themselves. We will return there always in the upcoming years with greatest pleasure, looking forward to tasting the delicious food, that is served there with true heart!

My experience in this place was not so good. Came to order Paella dish which suppose to be really good and from the pictures what I saw had to be really amazing. Not complain about the time, it took them around 25mins to prepare the Paella but when it came it was a bit of not what I have expected. There was shortage of sea food on the Paella.. In total I have counted 5 shrimps, and basically that was it. The taste of the Paella overall was good, but there was lack of sea shells, lack of shrimp, it was very watery as you can see from my pictures, maybe there was not enough ingridients in the kitchen? Before ordering they could tell me this information and I would order something else. I never experienced watery Paella before. Not good experience, Im staying in the area for a week now But I will not come back. Paid almost 50 euros for dinner of 2, but I had to go eat additionally to other Restaurant as Paella had like only 400grams of rice for 42 euros... Sorry but 1 star from me as I felt robbed. Local Restaurant but there is an ways to improve. After reading other comments recently and 1 star reviews I kinda now understand that Im not the first who experienced bad food here and they dont like people who dont speak Spanish, I dont recomended this place to none Spanish speakers as you will be treated badly and the food will be bad, just check other 1 star reviews before coming here!

Watch out it's a TOURIST TRAP! My girlfriend and I had the worst experience in the whole Tenerife. The place was run very badly. Tattooed head waiter ran around with the tablet in his hand, taking orders. There were a few more Spanish speaking waiters doing basic stuff.

Its chaos! When we walked in, we had to find ourselves a table. From the beginning, we felt very ignored, maybe because we were not locals. After waiting a while, the head waiter took our order and flew away. We received standard bread, water, and coke. My girlfriend's glass of wine didn't arrive. When I finally got the head waiters attention, he shouted from our table through the other end of the restaurant in spanish (i would assume) where is the wine?

We received starters in around 15 minutes. We tried to get attention from the staff to ask for the wine, but no luck. Completely ignored until the head waiter came back to us after 30 minutes. Our starter plates were cleared, and our table was forgotten about for a really long time. While we were waiting for our mains, the server that was passing by asked us if we wanted a dessert menu. We informed him that we are still waiting for our mains. (STILL WITHOUT WINE) The server threw us two empty plates, smaking the table with the fist at the end. After a while, the head waiter came to us and asked if everything was OK. We told him that we were waiting for the mains. He shouted again and went to the kitchen to give out to them. He came back and told us after an hour that the dish we ordered was not available and suggested something else that we agreed to. We received that in 15 min. Head waiter apologised to us and said, "Enjoy your meal" while wiping his hands off our clean napkins. Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy our experience in the restaurant. Nice pictures, and good reviews are...

it seems like this place varies a lot between positivr and negative reviews. ours was negative, this negative in fact, that i even decided to write it in the first place.

we were greeted at the front, and waited fir our table. inside, the atmosphere was very loud, with plates banging, and the staff screaming at eachother - pure chaos. we ordered our food and drinks, and waited, and waited, and waited… in the meantime another waiter asked us if we want anything to drink… after we ordered it. after half an hour, we had to remind our waiter that we had ordered drinks, but didnt get them. it seemed like he forgot, since another table that waited only a few minutes already got theirs. the waiter responded with a very angry “uno momento”, which i found shocking. after 45 minutes we got our drinks. you could argue, that it is indeed a very long time for opening 2 bottles of beer and serving 2 glasses of wine. before we even got our drinks, 2 of us got their food, which was blend, and the portion sizes very questionable. it just didnt make sense to us, that a slice of tomato got served with half an avocado, resulting in a salad lacking in flavor. the rest of the food (which got served after 2 of us had finished) was meh, at least the portions were of fair size. the rice was alright, but the meat was not fresh, and looked like it was cooked in water. the fat was unrendered, making it chewy. the shrimps in tempura werent cripsy, which defeat the purpose of the tempura IMO. one dish, we didnt recieve at all. but what is worse is the fact that it was still on the receipt (which we obviously told them). the service and atmosphere were terrible. the food would’ve maybe saved them from the 1 star review but the 4,4 star is as astonishing to me, that i cant give them anything higher. we paid around...
