Tasty dishes with quality ingredients and outstanding presentation. Very friendly, fast and attentive service.

However, our experience did not meet our expectations and was good but not outstanding (with exception of food presentation and staff friendliness).

Food: Croquettes were tasty and had good quality ingredients but unfortunately, we liked the ones from a different place better. Cheese board was very creative and well presented but the combination of flavors just didn't fit well enough to meet the presentation. The rice was very good and flavorful, with prawn cooked to perfection. Didn't knock us of our feet but might do it for others. Overall, the chef seemed skilled and creative but might benefit from visiting other high class restaurants to perfect his dishes.

Service: Fast and extremely friendly and accommodating, which I highly appreciate! But mistakes were made, that should not happen in this price range. The main dish was brought out before we finished our starter so we had to hurry up so it doesn't get cold. To prevent this, a cloth napkin was brought to cover the pot of rice but it started to sink in and touch the dish. After paying, our table was cleaned up fast but taking an empty wine glass from one person while the other is still drinking should not happen. Also, a not empty glass was grabbed but put down again as the waiter realized it was not empty. Unfortunately it was grabbed from above, touching the rim of the glass. Those are some technical mistakes that can easily be avoided by sending one person to a high class service course and then teach all other staff.

As all staff members seemed eager to do their best, I'm convinced this restaurant will improve...

First of all the service was very poor. 3 People were working in the service for 12 guests, so we couldnt understand why it didnt work.

My starter arrived 25 Minutes after my husband‘s starter. Unfortunately WITH the main dish, a Paëlla. I did not accept to take my starter and kindly asked the waiter to take it back. Which he did.

We did not get any cutlery, so my husband had to walk in the restaurant to help himself. But he only got his cutlery. I had to ask again for mine.

About the Paëlla:

Since my mom’s best friend was married to a Spanish guy whose mom always prepared a huge Paëlla for my moms birthday I do DEFINATELY know that a FRESHLY prepared Paëlla takes 1-1,5 hours.

So I already knew that the Paëllas served cant be really freshly made.

We had the Paëlla Valencia which arrived lukewarm. The waiter shared the very small portion 1:3

I got the smaller portion.

1 handful maximum. Far to little!

the meat was definately warmed up, and warmed up chicken often tastes like warmed up.

BUT IF YOU ONLY PRETEND TO COOK THE PAELLAS A LA MINUTE, which you dont, you dont need to force people to take both the same one.

We were asked if we enjoyed our meal and we said „So, so!“ which is a kind way of an overall complaint.

Service was poor, starter didnt arrive, paella was only lukewarm and the portion far too small.

I cant understand all the 5 ⭐️ reviews at all. And believe me: we travel a lot and we always go out for lunch AND dinner all around the world.

PS: Since we ended up very hungry, we visited the restaurant Libano after we quit, which was excellent!

PS2: No need to answer to this review. Think about what went wrong instead and dont blame it on...

Que pena, que pena…nunca había escrito reseña de este lugar, a pesar de lo mucho que me gustaba. En mi familia somos muy arroceros, y, en Canarias, es difícil encontrar sitios buenos de arroz, conociendo nosotros 3, y siendo este uno de ellos. Teníamos reserva a las 14.30h, llegamos antes de tiempo, a las 14.07h y nos sentaron igual. Un minuto antes de llegar, había una familia de sevillanos que les comentaba que no tenían reserva y bla, bla, y los sentaron, justo al lado de de la que sería nuestra mesa. La diferencia de sentarse ellos y nosotros fue, literalmente, de dos minutos. Pues bien, piden ellos y a continuación nosotros. Ellos eran 4 y pidieron 4 entrantes y dos paellas; nosotros éramos dos y pedimos dos entrantes y una paella. Había pasado una hora desde que nos sentamos y ellos ya se habían comido todos los entrantes y nosotros solo teníamos el pan. Cuando ya tenían las dos paellas, nosotros aún no teníamos los entrantes. Cuando por fin nos llega uno de ellos, nos dice el encargado que lo siente, y excusas varias. Al finalizarlo, nos dice de cambiar plato y cubiertos, a lo que yo le respondo que no es necesario, pues aún quedan las croquetas…se queda pasmado y nos dice que el no había apuntado eso…pero que si queríamos marchar las croquetas igual, y por supuesto le dijimos que no, porque nos hubiese dado la cena. Nos llega la paella y se va un momento y me fijo que los cubiertos con los que nos iba a servir están completamente sucios. Cuando por fin nos sirve la paella, el arroz está duro, solo sabe a sofrito y no tiene ningún tipo de gracia, siendo lo que más pena me da, porque era un sitio con calidad y ahora…en fin. Pedimos la cuenta, obviamente sin postres ni nada, el hombre, evidentemente, ni nos preguntó cómo habíamos comido, ni nada por el estilo y nos dice que la cerveza y el pan nos lo han descontado por la espera, y que las croquetas sí que estaban apuntadas, pero que a cocina se les había olvidado, ¿en que quedamos?…pues bien, cuando llega la cuenta, menos mal que tengo la afortunada manía de revisarla siempre, porque nos habían cobrado 44€ de más, 44€!!! Que ya nos iba a salir la friolera de 80€ un arroz y un entrante, sin contar la bebida y el servicio de pan. A todo esto hay que añadir, que la mesa de al lado eran los típicos clientes que tratan de forma despectiva a los camareros, exigiendo cambios de plato cada dos por tres, etc, y su servicio para con ellos fue excelente, y recalcando que no tenían ni reserva. Lo peor de todo, es que la última vez que íbamos a ir tuvimos que cancelar porque habíamos reservado a una hora, necesitábamos adelantarlo y nos dijeron que no, que incluso, ni siquiera nos podrían sentar a nuestra hora, porque habían cogido una mesa grande sin reserva y todo se había retrasado…es decir, es un lugar magnífico para ir sin reserva, es cuando mejor te atienden, pero ellos bien que te recalcan en el recordatorio de la reserva que tienes una hora y media para abandonar la mesa y después se te pasa la vida para comerte dos cosas, caras y mal elaboradas (refiriéndome al arroz, el entrante estaba bien, pero muy caro)…En fin, no volvemos jamás, una...
