We gave the place a try twice. The first time the waiting was ok, but the food was tasteless. It was supposed to be with a Thai taste but everything, from rice to vegetables, gambas and sauce was tasteless. Since I didn't share my opinion at that point with the people at my table, I thought it could just be me. Next day same thing happened. Other dish, Indian sauce, of supposed to be, two out of three dishes were tasteless. The desert ok. We wonder WHY it is so tasteless. Bad cook? Frozen food? Both? This time the waitress, redish blond with lots of hair was rude from the moment we tried to sit down, but the day before the waiting was fine, so we thought those people would be there as well. But no. She charged us extra for things and we left very dissatisfactied. This woman has no skills at all to wait on people. She also mistook us for tourists which is understandable but not so. We regret the situation. This could be a lovely place. The waiter told us she was the owner when we asked to talk to him or her. I guess so, since I read many people complain about supposedly the same person. The problem is, she will not have people come back. Blown away by this unassuming little restaurant…recommended to us by a local, otherwise we would never have found it, but SO glad we did! The Asian gnocchi was SUPERB (and gluten free as made from rice!) plus the Thai prawn stir fry and pulled pork tacos were delicious…and what a pleasant surprise with the madras nachos…!!
